I agree with most of the recent previous reviews - the Coral Sol de Plata has a few problems, namely the beach which is not great for swimmers and the rooms which are tired and need to be refurbished. Spent a week on high season the resort is very full. We arrived around noon time but they can't check us in until 5pm because the resort was too crowned. They first gave us a bungalo furthest away from main lobby like 10 minutes walk. air conditioner not working, TV not working, no hot water. Maids were still cleaning up.... more

I was incredibly happy with this resort. The food was great....always room at the restaurants, always fresh everything, always hot everything. Some people were complaining about things not being cooked right through on this review page, but face it, how many people that cook burgers and eggs at home get them right 100% of the time without cutting into them????... more

Great veiws, Great food and everybody was so nice. The pool was so nice, loved the bar in the pool. The night clubs at the hotel played great music. The casino was awsome.
