My girl friend and I spent a wonderful two weeks at La Casa Playa, and had an absolutly fabulas time. It is very secluded, and offers a private beach, but still is a cheap cab ride into Cabarete for dinning and shopping. Since there were no reviews on this hotel I thought I should put one in. We were in Puerto Plata in 2001 and stayed at the Casa Marina, it was rated as a 3.5* and that is exactly what it was. The rooms were not immaculate but they were clean and we did not really care as we wanted the... more
