After reading all the positive comments on Trip Advisor we had very high hopes for this resort. I have nothing bad to say about BB: the resort is large with comfy beds and good food. We really enjoyed the quiet pool & pool bar. Make sure you try coffee and cookies at the quiet pool bar-SUPERDELICIOUS! The only annoying detail about Blue Bay are pushy timeshare salesmen. more

Stayed for 2 weeks in February. Couldn't have loved it more! The animation crew was incredible. The resort grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very spacious. The maids kept our room spotless with fresh towels at least once a day if not twice. Our favorite was the pool bar with Roque(Rocky), Effran, and Dawin. Great drinks and very entertaining.... more

We arrived after a nine and a half hour trip to be handed envelopes with our room numbers on and found that we were in separate blocks even though we booked as 4 people for 2 rooms. We were told that 'we are full' with a 'take it or leave it' attitude and 'we might be able to help you... more

This was our first trip to the Domician Republic . Blue Bay staff were always friendly and very helpful. The food at the buffet restaurant was plentiful and tasty with lots of variety. We tried all three a la carte's which were also very good but we enjoyed the variety of the buffet. The entertainment was always lots of fun.... more

Room was basic but adequate. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good ceiling fan and air con. Tiling seen better days. Not many drawers or hangers. Had to pay for safe which was annoying. Slept like a baby. No problem with neighbours or entertainment noise. Maid service very good. Hotel very clean and nice ambience. Strange that an adult only hotel... more
