Extremely nice, safe hotel. Arrived later in the evening and was greeted with kind staff offering fresh, cold juice as we checked in. Rooms are quaint and clean. Staff arranged for 4:30 am taxi pickup. Location is ideal for exploring Colonial Zone. After staying in other parts of town, I highly recommend this place.

In the middle of the colonial center. Every Saturday evening concert with latin artists organized just around the corner in front of old town ruins, Great atmosphere and dancing (if you like the music). We skipped breakfast all along besides for a cup of coffee. The room rates are very reasonable and the breakfast is what you pay for. Surprisingly,... More

Terrible!! They were rude; they lied; and tried to defraud me! They refused to give me a receipt when I checked out ! The worst hotel experience in 40 years of worldwide travel! Do not stay there! Tourist beware!

Our oom was quite large but not a single chair was in it. Lighning was so poor that readingin in he room was impossible. The shower was the worst we have ever had and no towels for face or hands were supplied. There were no glasses neither in our room nor in the bathroom and when we asked for some... More

The hotel itself is very well situated about two blocks from Plaza de Espana and a few blocks from Parque Colon so the colonial zone will be very walkable. Breakfast was big, is excellent! and it was included in the price. You can also buy food and drinks and bring them to the rooftop.. good view. I can wait to come... More

Thought I was having an ok stay till I discovered my most sentimental piece of gold jewelry missing, and of course the hotel is not gonna do anything since it was kept out of the safe. What sort of room service steals from their guests! I am so disgusted, never again.

I only rate it as poor because of our overall experience moving round a lot. If we had the right room first time round, I probably would rate it as average. The last 3 nights were nice. I stayed here with my friend for 5 nights. We arrived late in the evening on 26th December 2014 and were told that... More

Stayed with family at the Antiguo Europa over new years. The room was standard, no frills but did have AC and cable TV although the TV was small and not flat screen. The hotel itself is very well situated about two blocks from Plaza de Espana and a few blocks from Parque Colon so the colonial zone will be very... More

Even though the hotel has great reviews please be advised of the following; the rooms have no mini refrigerator. There is no free water bottles. The breakfast is the samething every day not bad but you can walk around and find cheaper food and water. The staff is friendly and will do their best to accommodate you. The rooms are... More

We staid at this hotel in second week of December 2014 (my sister and I 2 girls in late 20s early 30s)) My Dad joined us later. Overall: Great location close to all historic sites: Location can't be more convenient if you are planning to see around the Colonial Zone. you could go back to your hotel and leave your... More
