My husband and I stayed for one night and it was absolutley convenient, could walk around the colonial zone, no problem, close to bars and reataurants. The room is the smallest we have ever stayed at but it had everything we needed! The really bad thing was the AC making a noise all night. One really down point was when... More

Even though I booked long time in advance I was offer a room without window. I ask for another on and revived on to the backyard, just near the kitchen. As the room did not provide any curtains I saw the flickering of the television the whole night. The air condition was repaired 2 times and still did not worked.... More

We are very sorry that you don't felt comfortable in our hotel. Our property is a colonial house so the walls are very wide and prevent the signal reaches well into some rooms for that reason we specify that we have free wifi in public area but thaks to your suggestion we are installing some wifi repeter. We appreciate your... More

We stayed here a few days before we visited the mountains, and then again on our return to the city. The location is really ideal - in the heart of the colonial city, with all the historical attractions (like the Alcazar Columbus) in easy walking distance; and yet the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Best of all, Carlos and... More

I stayed at this Bed and breakfast conveniently located in the heart of the city and close to many attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious and in good condition. The "A" team will take great care of you, Carlitos, Sandra, Margot and Julio (July) are supper attentive and accommodating. I will definitely stay there on my next visit and will... More

Great pricing, quiet area, clean accomodations. The staff is extremely competent and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming, tranquil. I will make my way to Suite Colonial whenever visiting Santo Domingo. 2 blocks from Condi and close to many attractions including the malecon only adds to the value of your stay.

On the plus side: I had to change my pre-paid reservation (cashed in frequent flier miles) and it was no problem whatsoever. The location is great for what I had in mind, and it is on one of the quieter streets. There are good restaurants close by. The air conditioning worked great. The television was a bit of a mystery... Although the hotel does not have a shuttle service, they provided me with a driver they have relationship with that waited for me at the airport holding a sign with my name. Driven to hotel arrived safe and paid driver about $40. The hotel is very nice, only 9... More

We stayed at Suite Colonial for 2 nights while in Santo Domingo. The hotel is very well located in the Zona Colonial in a close proximity to all sights and restaurants. Spent three nights on two occasions in this hotel. The first two nights were during the week, when it was very quiet. The third one in the weekend when the hotel was fully booked and less quiet. Nevertheless, the location of this hotel is top notch, the staff are extremely helpful (although only one speaks English), breakfast is the same... More
