I stayed for 3 nights in a single on the 2nd floor, and found the hotel to be everything I was looking for. The location, price-point, hot water, wif-fi in the rooms, AC, and quality of mattress were all excellent. The traffic noise at 8am was a bit bothersome, but that is common at most hotels on El Conde if... More

I have stayed ROMA 2 several times and always feel welcome. After my resent disappointment with Viva Dominicus Palace, was my first choice. Roma offers several types of rooms. I have try it all. If you only staying for one night recomend a single room but if you are staying for more then choose the apartment. The free wifi, the... More

Almost hidden above the "Ace" hardware store at Calle. Conde & Avenida Duarte is the Hotel Roma, one of two in the Colonial Zone. This hotel is a few yards south from Conde on Duarte and is unmarked except for a small awning. It is located in the heart of the Colonial Zone three blocks from Columbus Square. For $45... More

Extremely Clean room, nice bedding and bathroom, room setting is good but the bed next to the wall faces directly against the AC in room 210, located in a secure but very expensive environment, but no parking, no breakfast, No visibly known restaurant/bar; No wifi in the room, Wify only works in the lobby with very poor signal, a little... There are two Roma Apart Hotels in Santo Domingo, this review is for the Roma 2 which is on Calle 19 De Marzo. All I can say is that this place was AWESOME! I stayed here for Memorial weekend 2013 and although the outside of the building and their reservation issues were less than desirable once I got into my... More

The location is great! its in the heart of Zona Colonial. I notice that at the reception they always ask for ID for security reasons that it's great! Unfortunately there is not breakfast included, so for the price, probably you could find something with the same price with breakfast included. The rooms seems to be clean with cable and frigo.... We stayed two nights at this hotel during December. Rooms are clean but the pillows are extremely uncomfortable and the rooms close to the street can be very noisy. At $45 this is a cheap option but you can normally find good options on hotel sites for about the same. Breakfast is not included and a big minus is that... More

I recently enjoed a 4-night stay at the Roma II which is more updated than the Roma I down the street. I had a single room at $45/night which is dirt cheap by US standards. The room was small, but had a flatscreen tv with cable and a nice-sized bathroom. The view of tenements was less than desirable, but for... More

This was a very pleasant surprise in the middle of the Colonial Zone. Large spacious rooms, very nice staff who spoke english, and had no problems with the wi-fi. The location is prime for someone who is interested in exploring the colonial zone and beyond. Fantastic location!! No breakfast, pool, fitness center...just the room for the rate, which was a... The Hotel is not bad at all, but need lots of improvement. I stayed there for few nights in Oct2012, not because I wanted, but just because a friend of mine paid already for me...I travelled without reservation and he was very kind to do it for me. If I did not stay they would charge him and etc...First, I... More
