My friend and I stayed at the hotel 2 weeks ago. The hotel is on a great location, walking distance to the sites and some nearby great restaurants. The lobby and check in was great. Attentive service. We stayed on the second floor. The room was very spacious! The bathroom was huge as well with clean towels and toiletries. As... More

We wanted to stay in the Colonial District, but were concerned about city noise. We could not have found better place. It is walking close everything in the district and very quiet. It was very hot during our 2 night stay, and the AC worked quietly and comfortably. (This was not the case in many places we stayed) The beds... More

We loved this place. You can feel a story behind this building and the charm that comes with it. Rooms are nice even if a bit darker. The little garden is well maintened with a nice pool. Breakfast was delicious and prepared with care and attention! Staff always friendly and available! The only negative point is the fact that you... More

The good things: 1. The location. In zona colonial, walking distance from lots of restaurant and the city’s landmarks and it fells quite safe to walk around. 2. Service. The staff was very attentive and tried to help with everything we needed. 3. Wifi speed was decent comparing with other places in the Dominican republic. The not so good things:... More

I just got back from a 3 night stay in this wonderful hotel. I can't say enough about the wonderful stay I had there. On the street side you only see a door, a small sign saying Villa Colonial and fresh paint and lighting. Once inside, you are in a small oasis of a place with original Victorian tiles, beautifully... We spent a total of six nights at this hotel 5 at the beginning of our trip and 1 at the end. The staff were what made it so special for us. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Ramon in particular was very considerate. He knew we would be arriving very late on our first night and put us in... More

In Zona Colonial, walking distance to all sights. Lot of restaurants in the area. Quiet clean hotell with very friendly service. Good beds and sheets, clean and nice bathroom - good sleep. Strong wifi. Ok breakfast with fresh fruits, juice, yogurh and toasts. Minor issue - white walls could be refreshed. In general recommended place, would stay there again.

It's in a quiet neighborhood, but very close to restaurants and other sights. We loved walking around the area, just getting a feel for the city. The hotel was extremely well-maintained, the staff were super friendly and breakfast was a treat! Don't miss the homemade passion-fruit jam. It's amazing!

Wrote back and forth to Ramon Tejada regarding a reservation for 12 nights for me and my wife. Finally settled on a price of $80.00 per night payable in cash at the hotel. Fine I went ahead and made the reservation through the portal as instructed by him. Three days later I received an email from him saying they could... More
