Cocoa Cottage is a charming rustic guest-house surrounded by the awe-inspiring natural beauty of Dominica's rainforest. From the adrenaline fuelled canyoning trip, to the delectable chocolate making class, there was plenty to do for both the ultra adventurous and the more docile of holiday maker. The wonderful staff who were all too happy to help and the nutritious organic meals... More

A lot of guests complain about the hosts. I think in this case, Iris had every right to complain about me. I lost her keys, requested help with an insect situation but she took it all with stride. The cottage is phenomenal. There is easy bus service to the location (though not after 7pm), the food is amazing as well... More

Yes people it exists. I knew nothing of this hotel. I ended up being here through Divine intervention On my arrival, my eyes grew large and the TV screen of nature that stood in front of me was mind blowing. I had my own radio that played the sound of the birds, the wind, river running...The staff is warm and... More

I came to Cocoa with no expectation. I thought to stay for three night but stayed for nine. Words cannot describe the place, not even the many photos I took. \ "Life is a box of chocolate you never know what you are going to get" that was the sign at the entrance. It is located not far from Roseau... More

This is a great place to stay in! We where very well taken care of by the staff and they help us with whatever we wanted and needed if it so was a trip to the boiling lake or a massage to help with the sore muscles after the walk. The place is beautiful in the middle of the jungle.... More

Our trip to Dominica was planned entirely by my husband as a surprise for our anniversary. Not only was I completely surprised and thrilled that he did this for us, but when we drove up to the entrance of Cocoa Cottages I said "This is PERFECT!" And it was. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and well attended.... More

Dominica and the Cocoa Cottage was the most beautiful vacation we had in years. We went to Dominica for our honeymoon, so at the cottage we had the honeymoonsuite for 5 days. It was perfect. We loved the feeling of being in the nature, of being one with the nature. Sleeping with the sound of the birds and other animals... More

We stayed there during our stay in Dominica. Overall, we had positive stay and we would be ok going back there again but we would likely try somewhere else next time. It was pricey overall for what you get. Location: is really nice. You are in the middle of the jungle. Having said that, I can confirm that you hear... More

I am a bit embarrassed to be so tardy in my review, as we stayed there 14 months ago. However, since I relied so heavily on what I'd read on this site, I felt obliged to offer our perspective. Let me say first, that our previous lodging was in a serene, remote location next to a roaring stream. I think... More

Hello Greenlizzy, Thank you so much for your honest review. I am so sorry you have had such a terrible experience. You are right--the exploration for geothermal energy source, as part of the island's green approach to generate power, took place right around the time of your visit, for a whole month. We all suffered and it was beyond our... More

Welcome to Cocoa Cottage--Dominica Mind Body Adventure. Cocoa Cottage is an artistic guest house located in the heart of the Roseau Valley, only a few miles from town but worlds apart.
