A comfortable hotel right in the middle of Roseau with friendly staff and good facilities by Dominican standards. Apparently it has been in the same family for many years. If you are looking for a small, comfortable and unique hotel with friendly and personal service located right in the heart of Roseau, the Sutton Place Hotel is probably for you. My fiance and I stayed here for one week. Both the hotel and the room were very nice. It was a rich, traditional decor. The king bed was two singles, pushed together. The service was inconsistent and you weren't sure what to expect each day for towels or breakfast. Below-average service seemed to be the theme for the whole island,... more

Unfortunately We were in Dominca on business and was only there for 3 days, June 1st to the 3rd 2004. Our client booked us into the Sutton Place. The Staff was excellent as was the service... The room was well furnished and was spotless. What amazed me was the friendliness of the staff and management... After living in the Caribbean... more
