I was at this resort July 4th - 11th. and August 2008. I must say last year was much better and way more fun. My main complaint about this resort is the lack of English...they cater to the Italians and that is it. All activities during the day and shows at night are only in Italian. So, needless to say... more

I travelled to Hotel Las Morlas for one week, just a few days ago. I'm a 17 year old female, and I went with my 14 year old sister and mom. First, we flew with Cubana airlines. I have to say, the flight was pleasant. It was about 3 hours, the flight attendants were nice, and the food was alright... more

Hotel Las Morlas was absolutely fantastic!! It's a smaller hotel and the location is perfect. The hotel is laid out wonderfully...nothing was longer than a minute or two away--including the beach!! The beach was phenomenal--such soft white sand and always kept clean!! Special mentions to some of the hotel staff; Yoel, Ivan, Yaret, Miriam, Joslaine, Zenia, and Yamir (just to... more

Arrival: April 4, 2009 We flew Cubana Airlines with Hola Sun as our tour operator. Other then losing one piece of our luggage...my grand daughters beach toys...everything else was fine. We arrived later in the evening so it was hard to get a good idea of what the resort looked like but in the morning we were very happy with... more

We have been to this hotel a couple of years ago, and there have been many improvements since then. Its a very clean hotel with friendly staff. This hotel is now owned by Italians (EdenVillage) so there are many Italian entertainers throughout the hotel. If you do not speak Italian, you will have a hard time being able to participate... more

Judging by all the photos from 2006-2008 that I saw of this resort, there have been many nice new renovations recently. When I booked this resort I was a bit leery. I had not yet stayed on the Varadero strip and I keep hearing about the sub-standard conditions due to all the partying young people that go to these resorts... more

This was our first visit to Cuba and we are very pleased with our trip.I can see that main complaints for this hotel are about the food, but the food was really good.Since there are so many Italians you can choose to eat pastas cooked in front of you,or something else if you don’t like pastas. If you need dressings for pizza... more

This was our fourth stay at Hotel Las Morlas. Since last staying there in 2005 it has changed ownership from RIU to Oasis. We had no complaints other than when we initially came to Varadero we were bumped to another hotel. However, that was straightened out and on the second day we came to Las Morlas. The hotel guests were... more

The hotel itself is quite lovely and is a nice size (not too big). You can move back and forth from the beach to the hotel in less than 5 minutes which is great if you forget something while at the beach and have to go back to the hotel. Rooms had everything that you need….balcony, air conditioning, bath/shower combo,... more

I know people like recent reviews, but I stayed there last April for 2 weeks. I see from pictures they have redone the pool and it looks amazing! Last year there was a mix of people, but mainly from Canada I would say. I usually go to Cuba at the end of April so they resorts have very few guests... more
