We stayed at Arenas Blancas from Dec. 22/07 to Jan. 5/08. The review is late, but better late than never and since we will be going back for Christmas 08 I thought I should put a positive review out to let people know that it is a good hotel. First off, kids stay and eat free at the hotel so... more

The Arenas Blancas is one of our favorites in Varadero actually the only one! We have been staying at The Arenas Blancas for the past 10 years. The buffet is actually really nice. The Chef will cook your eggs any way you like them and their omlettes are amazing. The Pool is fantastic and you are just steps to the... more

We stayed during spring break, which was feb 11-18/ 2006. I'm writing this review alittle late. We went with a group of about 14 people for so. All of which love to pass out due to excess of alcohol. Food: All of it was awesome. Beach: I guess anywhere in varadero the beach it awesome. The beach here was good,... more

Concierge: Check-in/Check-out was easy, no problems. Was able to store my luggage in a room by the counter since my flight didn't leave until after 6pm so I could enjoy the beach. Room: The room was very large, the TV worked fine, never saw an insect, had a balcony, the beds were comfortable, noise was never a problem. The maids... more

We decided to try a different hotel in Cuba this time around and called up SUNWING VACATIONs and booked our package based on their star rating which was Gold (suppose to be good). Since I've been to cuba before and know the standard to expect I was prepared to expect a little less then a gold rating. My god was... more

Me and a good friend of mine went to Arenas Blancas for a week in the first week of June. We read many reviews about this hotel on trip advisor before making any official decisions, and we were a bit worried with what we had read, either way we decided to give it a try and go with low expectations,... more

I just came back from Arenas Blancas this sunday past. Let me tell you it was the worst experience I have had in Cuba. The hotel its self wasn't that bad. As far as service and food, it was the worst I had ever experienced. I had people from work asking if they should go to the same place and... more

I'm gonna try to make it simple,The hotel lobby and reception area looks tipically like a 2 star hotel, the public washroom (rest room) is thirty and very smelly (both men's and lady's), The room, first when you enter the room, you will say "what's this smell " actually we(my wife and I) realize that smell comes from the ceiling of... more
