Just got back from Arenas Blancas last night. The beach was great, Nice clear warm water and white sand. There were lots of chairs and seating was never even an issue. We practically lived at the beach. The pool was great, nice and clean and again a lot of seating, But be warned, some of the elderly folk wake up... more

Not exactly a 4-star resort, but there were some things that redeemed it. As other reviewers note, the beach is the best. The pool was also excellent - very large, no problems getting loungers in sun or shade when we were there. The food wasn't THAT bad - lots of choices, never got sick - but mostly bland.
