I've been in that hotel for one week in April 2009. I think it was very good for the price. I paid only $550. My room was clean, the buffet was good but no much variety and was more local food than "american", but I loved it. It really depends on your needs, this one is a 2 star only.... more

This is a 2 star, rooms first night was horrible stayed in 21, next day got it worked out with sunwing rep for a bigger room with balcony, could see ocean from there. Definitely not worth the money we paid. Does not deserve the 2stars. The hotel is very run down. Helpful Hint....Always carry toilet paper or kleenex with you around the resort, sometimes the bathrooms have it sometimes they don't. You definitely get what you pay for! People should not expect a 4 star experience cause you are not paying for a 4 star experience. This hotel is very basic but has a more "homey" feel than the larger hotels in Varadero. Room - It is VERY IMPORTANT that you get a room in the main building of the hotel!... more
