This hotel is a simple 'bed and breakfast' style hotel.. when I first arrived , the lady at the main counter told me that they over booked and had no rooms left, and started to send me down the street to another hotel. I asked if any upgraded rooms were available and she first said no.. as I was walking... More

We have stayed in this small and friendly hotel many times. It is worth upgrading to a larger room for $10.00 more per night and is still very good value. The T.V. worked, the beds were comfortable and the shower was adequate. The dining room service was somewhat lack-a-daisical, and the breakfast could be better. The room was clean and... More

One block from the beach (3 minutes walk), close to Josone Park, stores, restaurants. The room was clean, some noise from the street. Ok breakfast, 24h bar. Beach bar. Not the best terrace, but close to other good ones.

Advantages: - Location location location. Just 70 metres from a perfect stretch of beach. White sand, uncrowded, mostly Cubans, no all-inclusive tourists - Location: I'd greatly prefer this part of Varadero (town) over the huge all-inclusive hotel complexes where there is nothing except hotels - Beach café just the other side of the road before the beach serving good food... I travel to Varadero 3-4 times per year and this is my hotel of choice! Great management, great location, and excellent service. Really good for the Price. Just a few steps from the best beach in the world! There's a tiki hut by the beach that is part of the hotel and the drinks are awesome. I recommend this hotel... More

We arrived early on Christmas day (!) and were told that all rooms were booked and they dont have our reservation even though we paid the full price in advance so they sent us to their other hotel in calle 43 or 44 which was a total nightmare and it was cheaper but nobody gave us back the money!!! Very... More

We went to this restaurant to eat lunch since it looked ok from the outside, but I've now learned a lesson from that. First we ordered the beverages, and those came fast. Waiting for the food, they served us three slices of roasted bread each, which must have been four days old due to the taste. One of the small... More

We were in this hotel one night. Enough. Difficult to sleep at night because you can not turn off the lights. When it is turned off it blinks every few seconds. Windows can not close. You can hear the noise from the streets nearly all night. Air conditioning is very loud. On the walls we saw a lizard. Although we... More

Nice hotel. Very close to a lovely stretch of a very lovely beach. Efficient and friendly staff available 24/7. Clean, quiet rooms - in my experience (I have slept in two of them) - with comfy beds, good AC, non-scary-electrics bathroom (always a worry for me in Cuba!), safe for valuables. Breakfast was fine and liked the cool, shady public... More

Good position close to the beach. Lovely crystal clear water. Hop on hop bus at door. Hotel has bar on beach and can hire beach chairs. CNN tv. Steep stairs to climb with luggage though there is a porter. No safe key. Short taxi ride 4CUC from Viazul bus station. Air conditioned. Beds firm. Rooms dark but can open shutters... More
