The hotel has its ups and downs. My main issues were the beach towels, the front desk and our maid. The beach towels are suppose to be waiting for you when you arrive to your room. They were not. The next day at 6am I went to the front desk and asked that when the room was made up today,... More

Cried the first night, we walked into our room on the ground floor, returned to the front desk to ask for another room was advised there were non I advised front desk I would be sleeping out side rather than that room ...a room became available mysteriously, was given a room on 3rdf floor... We came to this hotel with lowered expectations, fully realizing that Cuba is not Canada and the standards may not be the same, but we never expected it to be this bad. Upon arrival, we were placed in the worst room we've ever seen in a hotel. It was half the size of what this hotel advertises on its website.... More

Many reviews talk about the front desk staff but I had no problems, if you are friendly they are to! Hotel is old and tired but it reflects the cost you are paying. Beach is great, water clean and there is a mix of old and new chairs and you can usually find a chair in the place you want... More

We have been to this hotel before. This year I noticed the quality of the food had gone down. Maybe skip the lettuce, pickles and peppers etc for breakfast and concentrate on making good breakfast food only. New folks... take some plastic glasses and coffee mugs. The tourists need to shape up and dispose of their cigarette butts properly. They... More

1st time to Cuba. Never ever seen a beach like that before...probably can't be beat. Hotel wise..location location location. In its day was a Cadillac...now it's very tired but if u just want a beach and not there to hang out in hotel room. Good bang for your buck...food was so so. Huge issue with beach towels. Suggest u bring... More

First time back in a couple of years! Some changes underway - staff still has same great spirit! They really do make the place! New manager very present - everywhere all the time. Committed. Here is what you need to know - RECEPTION: A short ride from the airport, you will be dropped off first or second. Be sure and... More

This hotel is very average and outdated. Our room was not very clean, I am fairly particular about cleanliness and it was definitely not up to our standards. The maid did our room up everyday and often did bed art, we left things for her that we had brought with us. Front desk staff were VERY rude, never taking the... More

Our trip was from Feb. 4 to Feb. 12, 2015. Day temp 24 to 28 C. Rooms are ready at 4pm for new quests so if you arrive before then just have a few drinks in the lobby. Room safes do not come with the room, $2.50 CUC/day charge if you want one. The resort was listed as "ADULT ONLY,... More

Anyone reading this who has been to other all inclusive places elsewhere (Mexico, Dominican) you will NOT like Cuba. If you can pay a couple hundred to go elsewhere, do so. A 6 star resort here, would be comparable to a 3 star in Playa Del Carmen. This resort was a total dump. No pool bars, totally outdated, beds were... More
