Historic building, roof top view is amazing, have a drink and enjoy the view. Fills up fast, so make reservations ahead of time. The location near the plaza is a big plus, you can walk to restaurants and the Casa de Trova for some of the best traditional music in Cuba.

Ok, sure, you have stayed in a better place. They probably had warm water (in that other place where you stayed). Maybe, in that other place, they had room service. this hotel is 300 meters to the center of santiago, is true that the rooms are verry old fashion like the years 20 but the price is good for the quality. as the hotel are in a populate corner the sleep quality is not the better. you will hear a lot of noises of cars.

We stayed here one night during our trip to Cuba in '08, and since there wasn't any reviews of this hotel, we decided to share our experience. First of all, there's nothing 'gran' about this hotel, except for the facade. Rooms are quite cheap, but you really get, what you pay for - not much. Oh, well, at least you... More
