We started our holiday in Cuba with 2 nights at this Casa Particular. The house is a beautiful, well maintained building from about 1900 and we booked it, as we liked the pictures on cubacasas.net so much. Our room was in an annex at the backend of the garden, so we had full privacy. The room has a gorgeous Venetian chandelier and comes with a modern en-suite bathroom.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We don't speak much Spanish, but managed to get our way around with them. We ordered breakfast and dinner at the house and it was plentiful and very tasty, especially the fruit were much better than what we got at our 5 star hotel in Havana! We ate in the stunning courtyard, which is absolutely stunning!
The location is good, just around the corner from Plaza de Dolores. This was a much nicer place than any of the hotels we stayed in the whole of Cuba! We would definitely go back!
