This hotel was just completing a total refurbishment to an extremely high standard. All the rooms were decorated to a high standard. Quite a nice stay. Facilities are various (swimming pool, bars, disco...) and very clean. The architecture itself is very special : you like it or you hate it. This is a nice hotel although the standard rooms are more 3 than 4 star. We had an upgrade for our first two nights here and the superior rooms were good - with whirlpool baths. This hotel is very smart and is situated just outside the town centre. The walk into the centre is not too arduous and I was upset to read that someone people felt hassled.
