This family who run this Casa are so very warm and welcoming. The Casa could use some tender loving care but it is huge. We are confident that once some money can be made to invest in their Casa it will be more than special. Beatrice has a nice family unit and it shows. Her son and daughter loved the... More

Stayed 3 nights at this quiet, but nevertheless centrally located casa (5min- walk to Parque Cespedes and Casa de la Trova- don´t miss the concerts there!!!). Big and nicely furnished first floor room with little balcony. Good breakfast. Save car- parking. Great hospitality of Beatriz and her family! Highly recommended!

We found this casa via Tripadvisor and it was one of the best casas we stayed in cuba! Both rooms were spotless clean. Nivia's daughter is an excellent cook (we tried fish on our first night and ham on the second, both great) and a very attentive hostess, she helped us with everything regarding Santiago. The location is very very... More

I would recommend this casa to anyone looking for central but peaceful location and a really nice hostess,Beatriz who is a very generous and gentle soul and is working incredibly hard to ensure all her guests are well-looked after and fully satisfied.I found meals at Beatriz`s casa of exceptional value for the money we had paid. I could not believe... More

We spend a couple of nights here recently during our trip to Cuba. The owners were very friendly, we had food prepared for us in advance (as Beatriz had contacted us before we arrived to ask us, which was a nice touch). The whole family were very welcoming and friendly. The Casa is well located. We would recommend this Casa.

We stayed here last year and based on that visit, there was no other casa that we considered this year. There is a reason this place stays at number one - it has everything a good B&B should have. The family is utterly charming and genuine, the cooking never fails to be excellent and the rooms are far more spacious,... More

We stayed in Santiago de Cuba for 3 nights in early December and had a great stay with Beatriz and her family. The location is excellent and the whole family were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast and dinner offered by the family is also highly recommended! All in all a good choice to stay in a very interesting town

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights staying with Beatriz and her family at the start of August. It is a beautiful casa in a quiet street that is only a 5-10 minute walk to the central square, Heredia Street and the vast majority of the museums and places of interest. The food was superb every night and the breakfast... More

We enjoyed our stay in Casa Nivia very much. Our room was big, had a balcony and 2 beds. It was very clean and comfortable. The food we had was excellent. We had chicken and shrimps...it was delicious. Also the breakfast was nice and included fresh fruit, eggs, bread, cheese, ham and fresh juice. The city Center was really close to... More
