I stayed in this casa in october 2014. I had a lovely time there. The owners of this casa made sure that we had everything we needed. They were kind, made great breakfast and gave as a lot of information when necessary. I can surely recommand this casa.

This was one, if not 'the', favourite casa particular we visited during our trip around Cuba . It's true the room is a bit basic, but it has a working airconditioning and it has hot to very hot water coming out from the shower! It has a lovely patio in the middle of the house with a lot of green... More

Really nice couple, nice food....you won't go hungry. Fairly close to town, just a short walk, directions given on card so you don't get lost. Very understanding about letting you in the door no matter how late you stayed out on the batter. 'Don't worry, it's Carnival!'

The Location The casa is very central and only a short walk (10 mins max) from Parque Cespedes (the main square). It is easy to find - especially with Peter’s clear directions. Although on a grid, Santiago can feel like a labyrinth with many of the streets appearing identical. P&V keep the light above the yellow and green door on... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this very friendly Casa. Peter, who speaks perfect English, met us at the bus (in spite of the bus being 2 hours late) and welcomed us to his home. The bedroom is comfortable but what makes this Casa stand out are the hosts (Peter and Vilma), their wonderful 4 year old granddaughter... More

Peter told us a lot of useful and interesting information about Santiago that is very nice city. Casa is situated 5 minute walk from the center. We have felt... More

What sweet people and how they make you feel at home. They love to talk to you about their beloved Cuba. They also give you great advice on what to do en where to stay in other cities because they have a wonderful network. We've had lovely dinners as well.

We stayed in Casa Vilma y Peter in the beginning of August and I can say that after the long trip across Cuba I finally found the place I felt... cozily. Like at home. Vilma and Peter... well, they weren't just our host, they became our friends. Peter... he was waiting for us some 2-3 hours at the bus station,... More

Vilma and Peter were the best hosts I met during my travel around Cuba. Peter give you more informations about Santiago and Cuba than any guide and help you with acommodation in another Cuban cities and Vilmas food is awesome.

The Viazul bus stations are always a scrum when you arrive, so it was reassuring that Peter was waiting there with a taxi and our name on a sign to meet us.Like all Cubans we met,Peter and Vilma were proud of their town and their country. They are keen for their guests to have the most positive experiences, and they... More
