Lovely traditional clean family run hotel. Our room had a lovely terrace overlooking the bay, which was lovely to sit out on in the evenings watching the sun go down. Roy's english is excellent so no language barrier. I feel I have made some friends and will certainly go back.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here on a whim as we were traveling around Cuba and we were so lucky to have found this place. The owner, Roy, was so helpful and made us feel right at home and filled us in on what to see and do while staying in Santiago. We really loved this hostel and the location... More

The case is centrally located, within 5 (or less) minutes walking from Parque Cespedes, the plaza/square concentrated with the most sights of interest in Santiago including Casa de la Trova. Despite the location, it is quiet due largely to the quiet street where it is located. There are at least 2 terraces where the guests can enjoy drinks and dinners... More

Wonderful! We had an amazing time! The new owner Roy couldn't have been more welcoming and he spoke English which my husband really appreciated! He was super helpful to answer any questions we had about Santiago's area and made us feel special. The location is great because it's pretty close to everything. We ate breakfast and dinner there and every... More

This hostel is really nice and close to the city center. The english speaking owners offer tasty dinners and have a really nice rooftop terace where you have nice view over the city. Rooms are clean and with lots of space.

The hostal in a great location - close to everywhere you wish! Super terrace on the top of the roof with great service and food - not expensive. Very nice rooms, really clean. Great place for people who love plants - plenty of them there. Even if you do not stay there - they are always happy to help you... More

I stayed in this lovely casa for 3 nights with my boyfriend and since the very beginning it felt like a home away from home. The hosts Diego and Roy were both very nice and professional and their fluent english skills made everything very easy and comfortable for non spanish speaker. The location is great, our room was spacious and... More

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely Casa Particular and it was a great stay. The room we had was quite big and very clean, with a window to a nice patio with a fantastic wall painting. The highlight of this Casa is the romatic roof terrace, where you can have a tasty breakfast and/or dinner under a roof of... More

All I have to say about Hostal Martin y Gisel, also known as Hostal Las Terrazas, are great things. Business owners Roy and Diego are so good at what they do! Staying at this jewel, which is also an architectural curiosity due to the interesting and accurate mixture of styles and resources, made a difference on our trip. With all... More

From before I arrived to the moment I checked out and beyond I was treated like an old friend. The house is beautiful. The room I had was massive and the terrace is something else. Everyone who lives or works there is so honest and friendly you could happily sit and have a rum with anyone and be better and... More
