If you're looking for an hotel that is just outside of the city center and still within reach of the main attractions, this hotel and of course the luxury hotel across the street are a good choice. There are plenty of taxi's in front of the hotel or just across the street that can bring you down town. The main... More

I was in this hotel on august with my friends. The rooms was clean and there is a perfect breackfast, full of fresh and warm meal! There is also a nice pool and a disco inside the hotel. Near the centre in five minute we arrive at the main square of the city of Santiago de Cuba! I think this... More

Hotel Las Americas is a big hotel at the border of the center of Santiago City. It is well located, easily accessible, and has good service and decent rooms. One of its better assets is the swimming pool with canope and bar, where you can spend the hot afternoon hours, when it is too hot to dwell in Santiago City.... More

This hotel has internet but costs £3 per half an hour and they ran out of cards. They have a nice pool and it was well placed for the Carnival being close enough without being noisy. The breakfasts were good with an omelette station. Coffee pretty grim though. The rooms were clean. The receptionist on the first night seemed ill and... More

Was booked to stay here by a tour for two nights and after reading the reviews was very concerned. But I found it to be a decent place. The front desk staff were friendly. At dinner we asked for some extra things and the staff was more than accommodating. The room was basic but clean. Don't remember if there was... More

Ignoring previous reviews and out of desperation we decided to stay three nights at this hotel. Big mistake. Got hustled outside and thought we would be safe inside but the hustler followed us in and shook hands with the receptionist !! What details are they sharing with outsiders!!? Breakfast staff are seriously rude. The room was clean but didn't feel... More

We stopped for a night either side of a trip to Baracoa and it was nice split this way. The hotel has a good breakfast with lots to choose from the buffet and fresh omelettes. There are also some restaurants nearby- Bucaneros was the best. Its in an nice and safe location away from the centre but only a 30... More

I agree with two previous reviews completely. This hotel is badly run and is not safe. There is definitely an unhealthy relationship between some of the hotel staff and the numerous hustlers prowling the area. There is also a breakfast waiter/chef (thin one with shaved head) who is extremely unpleasant toward hotel guests. On my last morning there I noticed... More
