We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Colonial Maruchi for 2 days while we took in the sights and entertainment of the city of Santiago de Cuba. The casa is located on San Felix (a one way street which runs in the direction of Parque Cespedes) and is 5 1/2 blocks to the street Aguilera. If you turn right at Aguilera and go down a block you reach Parque Cespedes. If you turn left at Aguilera and go down 2 blocks you reach the lively Plaza Dolores. And if you go straight pass Aguilera, one block down you will reach Casa de La Trova. So all very close and within walking distance.
It's surprising what's behind those green Casa walls. You walk into a large beautiful antique filled formal living room. Then a waiting room or sitting room with a large aquarium full of fish and an open view of the courtyard.
