Relatively clean rooms and comfortable for a overnight stay on the way to your destination. Rooms on 4th flood renovated but only one very small elevator so this gets tricky in the morning when everyone want to take down there bags! Lobby toilets a bit disgusting. Again food edible but plain. Staff friendly. Annoying that you have to pay parking.... More

The pictures on the web are not about this hotel. The real Isla de Cuba is a worker hostel! Poor quality, terribly noisy, dirty, no warm water! The location is good but it is the only one positive point.

I arrived in town during the second week in September. Because it was too late at night to find a casa particular, I opted for the Isazul Hotel Camaguey. Although rather dark and a bit grungy, the hotel provided a welcome standby alternative. The check-in process was friendly and efficient. I was a bit shocked at the price, at CUC... More

Our rooms were about the furthest away from the reception area you could get. However as this hotel was crowded during the day with families in the pool it was pleasant to get away from the hub bub The rooms were a ground floor room with stairs outside leading up to another room but a short distance away from the... I have stayed at Hotel Camaguey several times and it is almost like home. The food is good, if one orders off the menu, and the bar is a nice place to relax. The pool seems to be always crowed from 10 am to 4 pm. If one wishes to exercise in the pool, it would be best to do... More

Rather run down hotel with rooms, where you can hear every word spoken from the adjoining rooms. Service was good, the food was fresh and plentiful. The bar area was in need of a good cleaning; the floor was very dirty! Location way too far out of town!

Hotel is far away from the historic city center and not easy to find in the darkness. Hotel and room have been in a reasonable clean & good condition. Nice lounge / bar with acceptable food for diner. I have seen only a single lift to reach the upper floors.

Room was ok, but located on the streetside which generated quite some noise that disturbed our sleep. The restaurant is a dump which serves food that we did not enjoy at all. They have an internet PC in the lobby, but do not sell the card needed to use it.

The Hotel Camaguey of Islazul chain could be a good efficient 3 stars hotel if it was not that far from the center. It is located by the national highway in the outskirts of the historic city. The rooms are acceptable and the food also efficient. BUT the noise of the highway does not stop not a minute and 500... More

Camaguey is an interesting city, the third largest in Cuba, however there is an apparent dearth of alternatives in terms of quality entertainment establishments and things to do. One daytime alternative is provided by access to the pool at this hotel, which can be attained by presenting your I.D. and paying CUC at the front desk. During my visit there... More
