I stayed in Casa Armando Gutiérrez for one week deeply recommended for The Guardian Journal. My opinion is very possitive because it's placed in the very center of Vedado, in La Rampa, close to new opened Hotel Capri. This is a luxury modern Pent-House with 3 air conditioned rooms and, private bathroom each. Very wide rooms, with balconies and beautiful... More

WE have recently vacationed in Cuba for two weeks. We recommend Casa Armando Gutierrez as an ideal place to be based. Located on 21 and M in Vedado on La Rampa it is within a 2-3 block radius of hotels (Nacional, Havana Libre), restaurants (La Roca across the street, Los Amigos, Monsignor), theaters and nightclubs. The hop on and off... More

The review written here by Helen Reis about Casa Armando Gutiérrez made me sick. It just reminds me that exceptional ideas, places or persons are always negative judged because of envy, jeaulousy or simply failure sense. I think this is the case. Special things are so different that people always look at it, some hate and some love but impossible... More

On the fourth floor of a 1940s building. A great room with two comfortable beds and and a balcony, a very clean bathroom with tub and shower and an air conditioner. It is located two blocks from La Rampa where there are a lot of clubs and restaurants. It's also only a five minute walk to the Malecon. The people... More

We are a couple of friends, that stayed for 5 days in there house. Everything started great; they were very nice and helpful. The problem was when the room started to fall apart. We didn´t claim the sheets with a lot of holes, but then the flush system broke and the bed as well. We talked to them and explained... More

On the top floor of a 4 story building, the room of this casa is for me the best place to enjoy Havana. Few minutes walking from the Malecon, the hotel Nacional, the University and the famous ice cream Coppelia, the Armando's casa is a choice you won't regret. Very clean bathroom and a great balcony. You will enjoy the... More

Armando and Betty are really wonderful people. Very hospitable, always available to answer your questions and give great advice! Armando has a beautiful casa in Vedado and gave us a good insight into Cuban life. Casa is very clean and spacious and in a good area of town. He has two rooms for rent. The first room has a balcony... More

Armando and his wife are the friendliest and most genuine casa owners I met during my 2 weeks travelling around Cuba. They always helped me with any kind of information I needed. Armando is fluent in both English and Italian, which is really nice. The casa itself is nicely decorated, clean, safe and has great views: the bed is comfortable... More
