We had a great stay with Migalia and her sister. They were both really welcoming and accommodating from the start and made such an effort to look after us. We were very late arriving at the casa but Migdalia still offered to make us a late dinner, which was excellent. The breakfasts were generous and some of the best we... More

We were satisfied with Migdalia´s casa particular. We stayed only 1 night, but I can say it was after 3 weeks of traveling whole Cuba, so we could compare. Our room has a balcony with amazing view on a square with Santa Clara Church. It´s right in great part of the city - Havana Vieja. I liked the room, it´s... More

The room was large and does have a nice balcony over looking the square. However the bed is seriously old and the bathroom is just ludicrous. When I say ludicrous I mean it is no bigger than 3ft by 3ft square and yes there is no loo seat. The two women that run the place seem a little miserable although... More

This is very possible that I have money stolen there to. My first impression was that I’ve just lost this money on the airport, but what a coincidence I’ve lost exactly 150 EUR, on the first night in Havana when we just left the room for like 1 or 2 hours (in the late evening) – only Migdalia was in... We were staying one night. The room was clean and airy. The bathroom was also clean, but almost no hot water in a shower and NO toilet seat. The view towards Convento Santa Clara is excellent. The owner is moody and a chain smoker. We decided not to have a dinner or breakfast which probably was not appreciated by her.... More

I had money stolen from my bag while staying at this casa. Only Migdalia was in the house at the time. We went out for a late dinner and returned after 2 hours as we had an early flight the next day. When I unpacked at home I was minus $150 dollars. I had left the money in a wallet... More

Both us our friends booked, or tried to book there because it was listed in the Lonely Planet guide. I'm not happy with that guide either as there is only a small line later on in one of the self-guided walking tours that talks about not going south past certain streets. This casa is in that area they said was... More

Thumbs up for this Bed and breakfast (casa particular) in Old Havana. Migdalia, the owner of the house, keeps this beautiful appartment full of Art Deco antiques spotless clean and is extremely helpful at giving advise to tourists and is always happy to assist, book a taxi, find you cigars, or anything else you need at reasonable prices. The rooms... More
