We have just returned from a two week vacation in Cuba. Ana had no vacancies in her house so she kindly arranged for us to stay in another house close by. Both Ana and Pepe are very accommodating, welcoming and their English is very good. I would highly recommend Pepes walking tour of La Habana Vieja. Ana basically planned the... more

Stayed here for only 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Ana gave us a map, booked our taxis, advised us on everything we needed to know and her nephew Tony even accompanied us to the bank to help us with getting some money when we had problems. Ana could only put us up for 2 nights as we booked last... more

Ana, Pepe and Yuri made us feel really welcome and at home in their house in Havana. All of Ana's recommendations were spot on, from restaurants, where to go (and not to go, even if it is in your guide book), tour destinations and tour guide. As an example, Ana set us with equally good accomodation in Vineales (Villa Basita).... more

I booked with Ana for two three nights and the first two I stayed with a neighbour and it was also an excellent place! Ana and Pepe are two very warm and friendly people with a lot of knowledge and good tips for getting around Havana. They speak good English and if need a guided tour around Havana don't miss... more

First of all I have to mention that I have never written a review before. But now I really cannot pass on it, because La Casa de Ana deserves it in every case. Our trip began with a big anticipation, while Ana and I stayed in contact continuously. I was surprised, how fast she responded our emails. At most you... more

I can't say enough positive about Ana and Pepe's place in Havana. We stayed here for 4 nights on the front end of our trip and 1 night on the back end and it worked our perfectly. Our impressions are that getting a booking here can be a challenge sometimes since they only rent 2 rooms, but we were fortunate... more

I have travelled to cuba twice and stayed for part of my trip at Casa Ana. There are many advantages to staying at this bed and breakfast. I am from Canada and I speak a little spanish only and Ana and Pepe speak many fluent languages which makes you feel very comfortable. Communication is also excellent as ana can be... more

I stayed at Ana's place for 3 nights and thought it was great. Ana and Pepe are two very warm and friendly people with a lot of knowledge and good tips for getting around Havana. They speak English surprisingly well. After a short trip to Vinales, I returned to Ana's, but unfortunately all her rooms were booked. Still, she made... more

We emailed Ana about staying in her two rooms; she emailed back immediately in perfect English saying that her 2 rooms were full, but her friend a block away (named Maria) had 2 rooms that were available. She followed up with 6 pictures of Maria's rooms and a full description. Maria's house and 2 rooms were wonderful -- classic old... more
