Casa Ana is a great place to sleep, eat and get information about the area. I didn't stay at Ana's because she was booked, but she got me into another casa in the neighborhood. Ana helped me contact local residents that I needed to connect with but I didn't speak Spanish well enough to arrange the appointments. Ate dinner three... More

Took my fiancé to Cuba last week to visit her family for her birthday. It was both our 1st time there. She tried to book with Ana but the house was full so she recommended a place near by which was nice. We went to Ana's for dinner one night where we met PePe. They both spoke English very well... Stayed for 3 nights at Casa de Ana at the end of Jan'15 and after a long trip from the UK found the Casa very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and more than enough of it ! On our first day Pepe took us on a tour of Havana with 2 other guests in a... More

As casa de Ana was full I stayed in an apartment just round the corner owned by Ana's husband Pepe. It was not as nice as Ana's house but still comfortable and with a v nice breakfast. I was there for a week. As a solo male traveller who speaks good Spanish and is interested in Cuban culture I was... More

A very nice place to stay in a nice neighborhood in Vedado. Very helpfil hostess, gave advice on sights and places to eat around the area. She also helped with reasonable transport to city center and other tours. Nice and clean room with private bath room, fridge and safe in the room. Additional meals are offered and we had breakfast... We contacted Ana early in November to book for one night but Ana was full so she referred us to her sister Maria. Casa Mary is only a block away from Ana's house so we got the best of both worlds. We got to enjoy a City tour with Armando (Ana's nephew), eat dinner with Ana and then spend the... More

I didn't actually stay Ana as she was fully booked but recommended Casa Diana just a couple of blocks away (review written separately) but I just wanted to say that Ana couldn't have been more helpful in the planning of my trip to Cuba, with her advise I saved so much time and effort in planning all my accomodation and... Last week I stayed at La Cas de Mary's, Ana's sister, and it couldn't have been a better experience. Friendly, warm people, nice bedroom with my own bath, safe neighborhood, many small restaurants nearby with wonderful food. Mary even walked me to one that was a little hard to find. Great conversations with her history professor husband, Tony, while sitting... More

This review is for "La Casa de Mary", Ana's sister two blocks down the road. We really enjoyed our stay at Mary's casa. Tony, and his parents are lovely hosts and they went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We travelled with our 3 year old daughter ... she loved staying there, because Mary's grandchild (4 years)... More

We contacted Ana prior to visiting Cuba and unfortunately her Casa was full, however Ana kindly recommended Casa de Eddie which was a friends Casa nearby and we ended up staying there. Eddie and his Mum were both lovely and made us feel very welcome in their home. The room and bathroom were very clean and there was a nice... More
