very Central and room with a view. Loved the roof top pool and bar! Staff were friendly and helpful. No entertainment in the evenings though. We had asked the concierge to recommend entertainment such as a salsa bar but found it difficult to name one....

I stayed here in January 2015 in a "Standard Deluxe Patio Room". This has a patio door that opens to an internal courtyard - very unusual. No actual patio/balcony though. Room had 2 double beds, mini-bar, flat screen TV, an old-style Nespresso coffee maker (was not actually Nespresso) - but I only got it working 1 day. Nice tiled floor.... More

We paid top dollar for three nights at the Saratoga. It is definitely an over-priced property, as other reviews have stated. The first gripe was our "city view" room on the 1st floor that provided us a unending stream of pollution (air and noise) off our balcony. Our second complaint is the theft of a Kindle. I am pretty certain... More

A good hotel but not perhaps as good as it thinks it is and certainly over priced! A good location and generally helpful staff but the ordinary (inside) rooms are pretty ordinary and rather gloomy and breakfast is a trifle disorganised and not particularly inspiring. However the mezzanine bar (great for cocktails) and the roof top bar were both excellent.

As part of a "people-to-people" visit to Cuba in early Jan., we were booked into the Hotel Saratoga. It was the first hotel on our tour, and it was by far the best one! Perfectly located in walking distance to all sights in Havana Vieja. Those with rooms on the street found the rooms noisy however. Breakfast buffet was standard... More

This is my second trip to Havana. Before I come, I decided to book in this hotel as it is in very good location and has all the needed facilities in very good quality. The wifi speed is acceptable for your basic needs (you don’t easily find Wi-Fi in Cuba). They have 24/7 room service and bar in the lobby... More

The Saratoga is considered at the moment the best hotel in Havana, according to locals - it certainly is one of the most expensive. Since I wouldnt choose to stay in a modern hotel in Havana, the Saratoga offered a great experience and stayed there for 6 nights. The rooms are traditional and beautiful Had the chance to stay in... Stayed here for a recent tour to Cuba and was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the hotel. Wonderful amenities, friendly and helpful staff, and really nice rooms. Spacious bathrooms as well. Make sure to visit the roof deck for the spectacular views. The only negative is that they have very few (like 8) double rooms (all the rest are king... More

We visited the hotel in January 2015 as a family and had a suite, a luxury double room and a standard room. It is a great hotel. Very comfortable. Bathrooms are large and luxurious, TV has a wide variety of channels. There is a good gym, a great roof-top swimming pool and bar, and room service serves good quality food.... More

We stayed here for two nights on our first trip to Cuba. The staff was polite and helpful and the rooms clean. My children's rooms smelled a bit moldy which we could handle for two nights but not longer. Loved the location and the roof top pool. Amazing views over the City of Havana!
