We booked the Hotel St. Jones in Havana, but when we arrived, suprisingly there was no rooms. The host suggested us to stay at Vedado. It was one of the most horrible night in my life! The room was noisy, dark, damp and dirty. There was no water, no hot, no cold, no water at all. There was a thick... More

I spent almost a week in this hotel after trying the Hotel Colina, which was acceptable but not pleasant. Vedado had hot water 3/4 of the time. The breakfast buffet was pretty good compared to other hotels and after much assistance I had a working TV with 2 English language channels and a working air conditioner. The lobby was a... More

If you know what you're getting into, this hotel will absolutely suffice for inexpensive lodging while visiting Cuba. Like nearly everything else on the island, the facility is in serious need of maintenance. Rooms may have no hot water, no water at all, or maybe the air conditioner won't work. HOWEVER, the upside is that the staff are all so... More

Dear, The address of the hotel you have booked Thank Vedado - St John's for your stay in Cuba. Thanks for taking the time to write reviews and we are pleased to know that felt good, but there are details that are products of the age of the hotel, has 62 years, but work daily to improve or give solution... We have been to Cuba a few times abd there are excellent Casas and Hotels. This was not one of them. We know problems occur in Cuba but this was a long catalogue of problems, plus a couldn't be bothered attitude. Other hotels and casas are good so why not this one. Briefly, a leaking cistern, no wash basin for... More

This hotel came as a result of our Airline Ticket purchase. The staff was very nice. The beds were your basic huge piece of form with clean sheets. The room was fairly small with two separate beds. The bathroom was very old fashion but with a full tub. Internet was only available if you purchased a card and only available... More

Hotel needs maintenance ( painting, old elevator that does not function properly, also hot water not functioning properly ). Staff is nice, location is ok, breakfast is basic but good, rooms are cleaned every day and also towels changed every day.

Quality vs Price-Good value for what I received. Front desk / Reception-The staff was more than friendly and helpful at all times. This includes all the bellmen as well. They are constantly smiling and wonderful. Pool-It was clean and there were several chairs to use. There was also a pool bar which was great and they came to you 9also... More

The hotel is very close to the Malecon, and the place has some restaurants. Its close to the Hotel National, a old and nice hotel, with money change and shops. You can walk at the Malecon, taking the risk to get a "shower" from the waves at the border. Its a nice walk, but a lot of cubans will offer... More
