Your could not be more central in historic Havna close to Plaza Vieja and in an old Spanish Building. Only 11 rooms with fine comfort. Steep stairs and no elevator but with helpfull staff. Traditional breakfast with no extra and only 1 cup of coffee!

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights at the start of our Cuban holiday. The location is great. A bit noisy as the hotel is close to the main square so lots of music and hustle and bustle, also some noise from the resident parrot but he's charming so has to be forgiven. The breakfast is good -... More

Behind it's impressively fortified doors the Hostel Beltran de Santa Cruz offers a welcoming sanctuary of peace, tranquility and order away from the scorching mayhem that can be Havana's streets. Check-in was cool, calm and in English and we were directed to Room no.3 ("The honeymoon suite ...." knowing smile) with an upward jerk of the thumb towards a large... More

People were very sympathic, the rooms were beautiful and clean. The yard is worth to be seen. The breakfast was not the best we had regardinf the choice. For cuba standards it was a very good experience. The location, the service and the cleaness of the hotel make it recommandable! It is a top three star hotel if not a... More

Good location in old Havana. Breakfast was average. Clean Hotel and renovated but still tired. An ok 3 star hotel but not 4 star. Court yard was good but was looking forward to the parrot but only sparrows instead.

We chose this hotel as it is in a good position and I have stayed here before. However, when we arrived I was told that the hotel had been flooded and we had to move to the Meson de Flota, which is their sister hotel. There are lots of other hotels in the same area so choose somewhere else and... More

Booked the hotel a month in advance hoping to avoid any issues. On arrival just as I identified myself the girl at the desk told me that my room was flooded and they would have to move me to a sister property for one night. I had heard this story before from other reviews. I was pretty angry, but agreed... More

This hotel looks really good from the outside and in the courtyard. Me and my sister stayed here for one night and were happy when we first entered the ground floor room as the furniture is lovely, however there were a few things that made me feel the prices charged are a little too high. Firstly the shower did not... More

Old style, restored, 3 level courtyard hotel. Small capacity, only 12 rooms. Good stay, served as a great base to explore Habana. Food: Breakfast included in room rate (from 7am), good but standard (toast, jam, coffee (only 1 included!), fruits, eggs, on a good day - danishes). Service good, coffee slow to come (is made fresh from a decent coffee... More

This is a delightful old building with rooms round a central courtyard. Our room was comfortable and clean, the staff delightful, and the location just about as good as it gets. However we had to pay to have a second cup of coffee at breakfast and the water wasn't always hot. We stayed three nights on arrival and then one... More
