We stayed a couple of nights in the Hotel Terral in La Habana. The Hotel is situated right next to the "Malecon" (the promenade street next to the sea). We had 3 rooms - all 3 were excellent and really big. The bathroom was nice, the room was clean and the housekeeping really nice as well. All our rooms had... More

The Terral is a nice little hotel facing the seawall, the room we were in, 304 was very spacious, clean and tidy. Food at the Terral was very good, so I suggest you try it out. The Hotel does have some problems with fixture and fitting, loose handles windows don’t lock all little things that should be taken care of... More

We stayed at this boutique hotel, which is a not typical old fashioned american-style Cuban hotel and also it is not in the heart of old town Havana. The hotel is on the main road and faces the sea promenade wall, so you wake up to a lovely view of the sea, the rooms are nice and spacious, the food... More

Nice boutique hotel option along the Malecon (seawall). The service was stellar (Thank you Vladimir and Johnnnier (sp) ) Though not in the heart of the main Old Havana attractions we had no problem getting around. You definitely want a cab at night to and from as this butts up to the more rickety streets....great for watching kids play vacant... More

Located on the Malecón, Hotel Terral's location is more laid-back and less hectic than some places to stay. However, this puts the hotel some distance away from many of Havana's attractions and tourist services (like currency exchange). The food in the hotel is outstanding, offering local and international cuisine. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Unlike many... More

Really enjoyed this place and the staff were great. Breakfast everyday was fantastic also. If I was going back to Havana I would probably stay a bit closer to the old town - but this was only 20 mins walk.

We recently visited Hotel Terral for a short 3 night stay in Havana. A number of the hotels/properties along this section of the promenade are in a very poor condition, however the hotel has been refurbished to a good standard and offered pleasant accommodation. The staff were always very helpful and courteous. Special mention to one of the employess at... More

We have just returned from a family holiday in Cuba, encompassing varadero and havana. We looked at hotels on this website beforehand and Choese a beauty in the terral hotel. It is midway between the old and new Havana and us right on the maicon, ( famous Havana sea wall -8km long).this means that, although you have a 10 min walk... More

Stayed in the Junior Suite in this hotel in December 2014. The views really were spectacular, however, the hotel service and room itself were not great. The spa bath in the bathroom didn't work. There were candles in the bathroom, but neither reception or the bar / restaurant had any matches / a lighter. The ventilation fan in the bathroom... More
