After 3 weeks on the road this hotel was bliss away from the dust & occasional poor service in Cuba. Lovely large rooms and great big beds. Very clean. Breakfast was good quality but as usual in Cuba they run out of things too. No faulting the quality or volume however or the choice for that matter. Staff were very... More

We stayed at Hotel Terral in June. The rooms facilities are excellent.. Staff are awesome and restaurant is brilliant. They had the best breakfast in Cuba that we tried in 10 days of travelling. Freshly cooked buffet breakfast cooked every morning. Choose whatever you want of the menu and they make it! Dinner food was very good standard. All cooked... More

Despite reviews about noise we had no problems. Absolutely huge room spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Other than Receptionist service very slow and poor. If you look some great bars along the Malecon great to soak up the atmosphere.

An amazing view, and a very nice hotel. The suite is very nice, with a giant balcony. The jacuzzi did not work properly and our towels arrived late, but other than that the stay was very nice. Also, stay away from the Cava in the minibar, it was very very bad. The breakfast however was very nice and can be... More

I visited Havana, Vinales and Cayo Largo for a long holiday last year and Hotel Terral was the perfect welcome to Havana. Firstly the Malecon, despite its noise (I disagree with anyone who criticises the hotel based on this concept - surely everybody knows the hotel is near to a busy city road so what do you expect?!) is the... How can this be the 4th best hotel in Havana?! We stayed there last week for 2 nights ; We arrived and were assigned to a room on the 1st floor. Wanted to do an afternoon siësta, which was impossible because of the noise pollution. This hotel is located right next to the busiest street in Cuba, which has 6... More

To come straight to the point, the Hotel Terral is one of the best hotels my husband and I have stayed at for a long time and I am including European hotels here, plus so called luxury hotels in Guadeloupe where we live. The room was huge and exactly as depicted on their website. A large bathroom with tub and... More

Wonderful staff who organised a fabulous tour in 1955 Pontiac with an english speaking guide for us. Nothing was too much bother for them from dinner and show reservations to whistling up a taxi. Hotel was comfortable with a few little rough edges, nothing major. Good shower, comfy bed and nice food. Great views along the Malecon and across the... More

The hotel staff where very friendly. The food was not good. When I booked the hotel it said it had a jacuzzi. Well to my surprise it didn't. It was just a bathtub. The cleaning staff were very good. As soon as we left the room they would start cleaning. Overall it was a OK. I'm not sure if I... More

We found staying at the Terral a pleasant experience and the large air-conditioned room was a plus. However, we couldn't get access to the balcony because the doors were locked tight, and some of the fixtures and fittings, such as door handles and light switches, were badly in need of repair. Typical was the toilet in the small restaurant and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Terral Hotel is the first hotel of the Habaguanex s.a. company located in Malecon Habanero. It is described as an urban hotel, modern and avant-garde design. The decoration of the building was conducted by a group of Cuban artisans, using black wood as primary and predominant element. Environments have been recreated with motifs of nature and movement; boxes of lights with images of mangroves, rivers funds, fish lamps and more, make the lobby space undoubtedly unique. ... more   less
