This hotel was perfect for our two-week stay in Havana (May 2015). It is halfway between Central Park and the Malecon and walking distance from Havana Viejo It is comfortable without being fancy, and has a friendly and helpful staff. We had a fifth floor corner room with windows facing both directions. Nice views of the city. The 7th floor... More

For his low prices the park view hotel is perfect for young couples or families who just want not to waste to much money. A big highlight of the park view hotel is the eating room placed on the top of the building with an incredible view!

1928 era. Renovated and reopened in 2001. Quirky imperfections that added to the charm, i.e. Elevator indicating floor it was on as waiting always no. 6. We may not be as critical as most since we were happy to find a room for 9 days as our Casa Particular had issues and one night was too many. Being high season... More

No frills here, just a tired, well-situated building staffed by earnest, friendly professionals. If you're worrying about lodging, you're spending too much time indoors.. This is a very good landing spot for those aiming to keep it simple. [If you go, please say hello to my friend Amaury.]

OK - it's not a 4 star and might even struggle to get 3 stars but the Park View certainly has character and lots of it. You feel the history of the place the moment you walk through the elegant (if faded) lobby. It might not be everybodys choice but if you like faded grandeur and lots of character this... More

I understand those of you that have an issue with this hotel - personally I do not. However, I would say that if you go to Cuba (anywhere in Cuba) and book a hotel such as the Park View, but expect a European style 3-4 star ou are mistaken my friend. That said, I Love Cuba. I would say that... More

The hotel is located just at the edge of old Havana. A walking distance to the Prado(main blvrd) fort/sea/ Parque Central/ Capitolio and the museums (fine arts & Revolution). The hotel rooms are not well maintained (some have mold on the wall that has not been treated. Breakfast is very limited and it is not offered in a generous manner.... More

As stated in the heading the location of the Park View hotel is really good located to explore the city. However the rooms, breakfast and service are minimal - giving the impression to have been probably better in previous times - however are not been maintained/kept on standards.

Small room, a bit depressing, descent beds, loud air conditioner - we got frozen and had to get out the blankets. Do not expect to have a Park View... the security guards were very attentive and kind (had our precious rented car park in front) so we could sleep well at night. The best value is the situation - in... More

Clean room. Friendly staff and good service. Great location. Breakfast was ok. We were very satisfied and nothing to complain. We had air conditioned room with small balcony. Nice small bar in the lobby.
