So you have to put this in Cuban - and in particular Havana - context. The hotel is very well located on the edge of 'Old Havana' and is an easy walk into the main centre. The hotel does advertise that it's origins were as a very modest hotel and it is still that. The rooms are quite basic but... More

This hotel has a nice lobby and the staff is generally very nice and helpful. The rooms are functional, but that's about it. It's a bed. It's clean. The water/shower is hot; yet the pressure is weak so you have to plan for a little time. The hotel is nicely located for easy walking access to many things.

We stayed here prior to boarding a cruise. This is a government-owed hotel. The lobby area is nice; staff friendly. Bar service is available with a limited choice of sandwiches. No sit-down dinner restaurant on the premise. The hotel is in an older building, so rooms are small, but nicely decorated. Tile floors are throughout, which makes for noisy hallways... More

We stayed at the Park View as part of new year trip to Cuba, travelling independently. Its an absolutely fascinating Country and well worth the trip. So the pros and cons of the Park View. So the pros are firstly, that it is one of the few mid price (i.e. expensive, rather than very expensive) hotels that is very well... More

The hotel is located near the revolution museum, very close to old Havana. The room is small but clean and quite nice. The bathroom is modern. In general, the hotels in Havana are expensive compared to their standart, and this hotel is not exceptional.

If I could go lower to one and one-half stars, I would. Very expensive for barley adequate room. Tell them you're on your honeymoon; it might get you a better room. Front desk staff polite. Slowest elevator on earth. It took two days to realize the "up" button didn't work on the fourth floor. Stairs a little scary. Faucet in... More

Expensive hotel; breakfast was horrible (below below the average), staff was rude but nothing worse than already expected from a socialist economy where there's none incentive to better perform and help customers. I wouldn't recommend Cuba unless you are extremely curious of learning about how a socialist economy is.

From the hotel we could easily visit the old citycenter of Havana. We were pleased to be outside, because the hotel was very dirty. The service was not good and the rooms not clean. From our window we could "admire" the broken part of Havana and poorness all around.

It was crazy humid in our room even with the AC blasted. I thought my things were going to mold. Service was not that great (front desk was kind of rude). The breakfast was sketchy. And worst of all, we came back with bedbugs. The worst. The only good thing is the location. But doesn't make up for the bed... More

Low value for the price. First room was a dark hole with water everywhere, except in the sink and toilet. Then they moved us to the best room in the hotel, with a terrace and good view. Still the details are not there, one window was not closing, tv antenna was not connected...but OK we were in a Cuban state... More
