Every thing is good but the hotel should be a bit flexible on client guess. more

We only stayed here one night but somehow got a mini suite with a lounge area, bathroom each and two balconies. The buffet was really nice too with loads of variation. more
One of the better ones. It is only one block away from the embassy district, so it is very secure. About 25 minutes from Old Havana. The shuttle broke down only once during the week when we were there. Between waiting time, etc. you lost over an hour every day travel between hotel and Old Havana. Their sister hotel is... more
A enjoy to stay in Meliá Havana. We spend like 2 months in the hotel until our container arrived, because we moved to live in Cuba for 2 years . The Real Service rooms are brand new, with LCD TV, king size bad, wi fi conection, beautiful view for the ocean, etc. A internet access in Cuba is a luxury,... more
I think that the Melia Habana has the potential to be a 5 star resort but right now it is not. The building and grounds need maintenance and attention seriously. The water feature in the lobby was dry which was disappointing. The lobby is very nice but does not reflect the rest of the building. The standard rooms are adequate... more
We had been in Varadero for 13 nights and decided to break our trip back to UK by staying in Havana the night before travel. We chose the Melia as we had stayed at Melia Las Americas in Varadero and had a great time. What a let down. The hotel is miles away from anywhere, you need to get a... more
The hotel is very nice looking. The staff is right out rude and never smile and greet you with a pleasant additude. If your expecting a call to your room "good luck" getting the call. If you have family coming to look for you "good luck" they will be treated like dogs and the front desk staff wont alert you... more
Stayed here for an overnight as part of the Tropicana Havana tour. The reception was very impressive when arriving. The bedrooms were good size and clean enough. When getting showered at night to head to the Tropicana show, the shower did not work properly. Then in the morning we discovered that the toilet would not flush. Dinner in the buffet... more
We stayed at the Melia Habana as part of Virgin two day / one night excursion which included the Tropicana Show on the first evening, which was only fifteen minutes away on the coach. It's a great hotel with all the facilities you could want (we didn't sample them all because of the short stay their. The staff were friendly,... more
This place is ok, but as every other thing in Cuba is overpriced. Other than that food is good, especially the Italian restaurant (escala i think). Buffet is nice but, unless you are a big eater or you have it included, i would not drop 25 cus (like 22 euros) to have dinner there. Internet is also very expensive and... more
