I and my wife arrived the hotel after midnight, check in was fast and it took us just a few minutes to get our key. The room was spacious as expected and generally clean. Some lamps in the room and the bath were in white light which did not compliment the room ambience. There was no complimentary bottle water in... More

We stayed there for few nights and really enjoyed it. The hotel was opened in 1998 but if you look at the building it looks much older. It is well maintained though. We had the Level room so I cannot comment on the breakfast in the main restaurant but the one served in the Level bar was ok. Decent selection... More

This hotel was recommended to us, it states to be a 5 star hotel but to US standards this would rate as a 3 star hotel, we did experience power outages but from what I understand this is very common in Cuba, food in the hotel restaurants was good, but had better meals in Old Havana. This hotel is about... More

Arriving in the dark in the middle of a power outage reminds you that you are in another country. The staff were overwhelmed by this, and couldn't provide a light or accompaniment to the room three floors up. Thankfully, when the power did come on we could see that this place was not too shabby. It is on the beach,... More

Myself and my boyfriend have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel, and I have to say I was very impressed. Upon arrival, we were escorted to our room with a fantastic view of the sea, and were also given a free bottle of champagne and box of chocolates as we were travelling as a couple which... More

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights which was the right amount of time to really experience Havana and the free bus to the center of the town was very convenient and made the distance you were away from the center bearable. The hotel is a bit too big, with large and spacious nicely furnished rooms, dining hall and reception area. It is fairly clean, given plenty unused space, and the services is reasonably good. The room maids are eager to impress you with towel decoration, but also eager to be paid for that. I especially enjoyed the food and live salsa... More

Horrendously expensive internet. Breakfast is ok and bar food is nice. Staff reminded me of service in the Eastern Bloc in the 70s but at least they smiled. The hotel is rather like a concrete car park with windows. Agree with others that the pool is nice.

The best of the hotel is the outdoor pool. The breakfast buffet is average and so is the standard of the rooms. Large rooms, with a large balcony, but one can see how the maintenance is not keeping up to date. But then again, most of Havana is in this situation. Quite hard to judge. The lobby bar has live...
