The location is great - 5 minute walk from Plaza Vieja - and the staff are incredibly helpful. We flew to Havana from Cancun with Cubana (NEVER EVER under ANY circumstance fly with them - over two flights we were delayed for a total of 21 hours!!!) and after 8 hour delay arrived at 2am to find they had lost... Best location in Habana Vieja, friendly owner and staff, nice rooms in a typical colonial mansion, a rich breakfast... that all makes you feel right in the heart of Cuba! A special mention to El Chino and Adisom for their help and the very pleasant time spent in conversation!

Duration: 4 nights Pros: central location, some rooms have safes, helpful staff, room cleaned every day, there’s usually at least one staff member who can speak English, rooftop terrace is great for watching sunrise/set over the harbour, big shared breakfast table was a great way to meet other travellers, fridge in room contained water and beer, spare shower room so... We stayed for 4 days on our arrival in Havana + 1 day before leaving. This house is fantastic, decorated between "kitch" and "old classical Havana style", it's quite, people are extremely nice and helpful, breakfast is huge and excellent ! Fabio is super friendly : don't hesitate !!

Fabio is a really nice and helpful guy and don't hesitate to book a room at his place. Just a 5 minut walk to a beautiful Plaza Vijeha and other Old Havana spots. For sure our next Havana trip choice.

After nearly three weeks in Cuba staying in State owned and run hotels, this was a breath of fresh air. Beautifully decorated with amazing antiques, a lovely roof terrace, such a helpful friendly atmosphere and a great selection of food for breakfast. It was fascinating to stand on the balcony and watch real Cuban life going on outside and yet... More

The house is beautiful and the accomodation is clean and comfortable. There is an amazing rooftop. Fabio is very kind and always keen to help and give good tips. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. The location is centric within Havana Vieja. If we return to Havana we would definitely stay there again.

Don't expect any luxuries in regards to the hotel - everything is pretty basic but therefore also very affordable. The people are what makes this casa so warm; they are super helpful and caring. I felt very safe. The breakfast was lovely and good compared to what you normally get with fresh fruit and eggs to your taste.

This casa is beautiful, with its high ceilings, colonial furniture and lovely 3 tiered rooftop terrace. Eungenio and Fabio were helpful and friendly, and did a brilliant breakfast in the big dining room with herbal teas, and a constant flow of coffee. Our room had A/C, an old colonial bed and our own private bathroom. It is a stones throw... More

I had one of the rooms with a private bathroom, and I really loved it! I was a bit conserned about the placement in Vieja, but I actually liked better to live here than i.e. the Inglaterra, with all its husteling and taxi drivers. The room was also better. It only took me about 10-15 minutes to walk to Inglaterra,... More
