Although a little late...I stayed here a year and a half ago, with my husband and son. We were welcomed into the family, and home... It was a very charming stay, breakfast was nice, coffee always welcome. The evenings we were always given a cigar...and when leaving given a pouch of cigars. I am so grateful that we visited Havana... More

Casa Colonial looks great but unfortunately I can't comment. We booked two separate three night stays several months before our trip. These were both confirmed two weeks before our trip. We arrived at Casa Colonial late evening to be told we were double booked and offered a much inferior room with no bathroom in a casa down the road. A... More

We would highly recommend this Casa as the best place to stay in Old Havana. Very well situated to enable all exploration on foot to the main highlights of Havana. You are in the heart of the old town with outstandingly beautiful buildings, many in great disrepair and obvious poverty all around but there is a great sense of friendleness... More

We stayed in Old Havana four days. I guess its hard for a stranger to stay in a privately owned house lacking all the secondary services of a regular hotel. But that feeling soon fades away when you realise you are in good, honest, working hands. Our room was very clean, nice bathroom. Breakfast was great and Carmen delivers some... More

We stayed here for 6 nights although we were only booked for 3. Our hosts found a way to accommodate us when the other "casa" we were booked in could not find our reservation. Our first night we stayed across the street at William (son) and Carmen's place. The room was clean and the breakfast tasty. Carmen is incredibly sweet... More

I would warmly recommend Casa Colonial to anyone visiting Havanna. A home-like place right in the center of the historical part of the city. The staff treated me like a family member although I was there for a few days only. Tasty breakfasts. Help available for whatever you might imagine needing it with. PS: If you want to make the... This casa is well placed in Havana Vieja. It is spotlessly clean (thanks to the lovely Jardira) and we felt thoroughly welcomed by the whole family. Breakfasts were excellent (fruit, eggs, fresh guava juice and delicious Cuban coffee) and overall it was an excellent stay. The reason I'm not giving 5* is that there's no ventilation. As a family we... More

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay with William y Carmen. They are very friendly and Carmen speaks very good English which was very welcomed. The room we had was clean and cool with en-suite, hot water, fans and AC. And most importantly very quiet in such a busy and noisy city. We slept incredibly well. William y Carmen... More

My wife and I, along with my son and his girlfriend, were able to stay at Casa Colonial 1715 on this trip, while my daughter and her boyfriend stayed across the street with William and Carmen (William is Roberto's brother). Casa Colonial is one of the most beautiful, well-run, historic, colorful, and lively places you could ever hope to stay... More

We have chosen this casa because of its colors and were not disappointed - it really looked beautiful and had a character. Pros: it is in Habana Vieja, thus most of interesting places can be reached on foot. You can refill the bottles of water in the kitchen - this water was tasty, better than bottled water in the hotel.... More
