Great value for money hotel.Stayed for 3 nights before moving to Varadero for a week.Brilliant position facing Parque Central.Old Havana is minutes away.Rooms are more than adequate.Breakfast was fine, the bar was a bit too humid (no air conditioning). No swimming pool, but you can use Parque Central,s across the street.it isnt the Hiton, but Telegrafo,s got real Cuban character.Lots of cigar hustlers, but they... more

Internet card deal is standard. I stayed in 5 hotels in Cuba and the only one where it was free was the Iberostar in Trinidad. Costs about twice as much in Parque Central so it is not a bad deal. Our room was fine, bathroom fine, I found breakfast nice. The staff were all friendly. I really thought all in... more

This is not really a 4 star hotel. It has a great location and the rooms are reasonably clean. The food is poor. Our problem was that on the morning after we checked in we discovered the bath full of sewage which had come up the plughole. The same was true of the toilet which had overflowed onto the floor... more

The hotel has a great corner location on the Parque Central, as one other reviewer said, really a square with trees. There is an area at the front of the hotel where you can have a drink whilst watching the world go by which feels old world colonial and a nice way to spend some time. The bed was comfy... more

This hotel has been recently renovated and it shows. The rooms are new and clean. Everything worked in the mainroom and bathroom. Adequately stocked mini-bar. A wonderful friendly bartender. (The drinks are half the price of the nearby El Floridita but you should still have a Daiquiri with Hemingway over there anyway). The staff were great and most spoke english... more

The most positive thing about the Telegrafo is its location. Very convenient and feeling relatively safe (apart from when crossing the road - although pedestrians often seemed capable of travelling quicker than the cars!) We had a view over the Parque Central - not exactly a 'park', more of a tree lined square that is a continuation of the Prado... more

We stayed at the Telegrafo for a week this february. Although the hotel was clean, modern, and perfectly located, the customer service, especially the front desk clerks, left something to be desired. The security and restaurant staff were nice but we found inconsistent service from the cleaners. I may stay again but I'd prefer the NH Park Central which is... more

Just returned from this cute, super clean and european style boutique hotel. Check in went easy, elevators work perfectly, make sure to book a room looking outside (nice views) sound proof windows, VERY comfortable beds, top service by maids, bartender Roberto: friendly, professional and makes very good Mojitos. Security guards are friendly and helpful with tips on what to do... more

This was our first hotel in Cuba, as part of a two-week cycling tour. Given our well-tempered expectations, we were quite satisfied with our three nights at the Telegrafo. Helpful, low-key staff, spacious, modern and clean rooms, the best sound insulation I've ever not heard, with the din of the traffic outside, The hotel interior has been beautifully renovated while... more
