Hotel is in need of a renovation. The Pool is the best thing about the hotel. Rooms are old but clean. Service is below par. Food is just average. Lobby are is nice and there is a little bar that seems like the place to be. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel with live shows.

Although this was a little way outside of Havana it was worth the cab right. Really nice hotel and were given a nice upgrade as it was our honeymoon, champagne and snacks in the room as well as the offer of a free meal and a trip. The pool area was lovely and although we did not have a meal... More

the room I had was large, clean and comfortable. What you would expect from a Melia chain hotel. So no surprise there. Most people will find this hotel suitable for their needs. I would skip the breakfast buffet as most of the food is not very good. The location is a long cab ride from the renovated area of Old... More

My Husband and I spent three nights at the Cohiba and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and well kept. There are a number of restaurants we did not try them all but did try the buffet once and the choice of food was good. Also the grill by the pool was good for a light lunch. The... More

I am a group coordinator and found myself at the Melia Cohiba while on missions twice so far. The first time was in November of 2011 and the second was in January of 2012. My first trip to Cuba left me wondering what the hotel would be like..it is great! You are greeted by a warm and welcoming lobby with... More

We organised a boys' weekend in Havana for a bachelor party and this was a great hotel for the 8 of us. The rooms were spacious and the hotel well located. We watched the Classico in the Casa del Habano cigar lounge with some excellent pizza from one of their restaurants. The concierge service was especially helpful. They booked us... More

Have just returned from our 3rd stay in Melia Cohiba. The hotel still offers high standard accommodation & service is excellent - which you would expect from a 5* hotel. It is exceptionally clean & comfortable & remains 1 of the most impressive hotels in Havana. BUT - We have always sung the praises of this hotel & recommended it... More

The rooms are well equipped and views over the ocean and city. No information on any of the facilities though. The restaurants for dinner very over-priced and poor quality food. The Italian cost £60 for 2 starters, 2 salty cold Lasagne and two coffees. The staff are more interested in telling you you have to pay if you are not... More
