This was the best casa during our journey in Cuba. Beautiful guest rooms with window and balcony. Loved the breakfast room overlooing the roofs of Havanna. Also very good breakfast. Location is good and in walking distance to everything. Also very nice hosts. We can definetely recommend.

This was one of the best casas we stayed at during our trip. Julio and Isabel are very friendly and helpful. We really loved the food they prepared. Rooms are clean and spacious and have a balcony. We also made the booking through email, Julio was very quick in responding and very precise in all the answers. Arranged us the... More

I booked a stay by email. Julio (owner of the casa) arranged airport transfer for me and it was very smooth. There was no elevator but not too difficult to walk up two floors. The building had three floors above ground, and there was an open air area inside the building which allowed good ventilation. My room was a nice... More

We highly recommend this family and their home. Julio can speak both spanish and english. My partner and I stayed here 12 nights - we were in Cuba for 3 weeks as independent travelers. It was the best place we stayed in for many reasons. Julio and Isabel are a good combination (and Lisette) ensuring that we had a taste... More

This place is maintained cleanly and nicely. We stayed 5 nights in 2 different rooms and paid 25 cuc per night per room. It has most amenities you need like air conditioning, hot water, a mini fridge, 220 volt plug, private bathroom, towels, clean sheets, etc. They offer a standard Cuban breakfast with lots of fruits, fresh juice, eggs, bread,... My wife and I stayed 6 nights (in April 2014) with Julio and his wife, two medical doctors with their 2 sons. Very friendly and talkative, helpful and open about their culture. The house has tidy rooms with good mattresses, spacious toilets, hot and cold water all the time, very quiet. There are fans and air conditioning in each room... More

Ideally located between charming Habana Veijo and the hip neighbourhood of Vedado. Great breakfast. Clean bathroom, comfortable room, and it is so pleasant to sit out of the balcony in the evening! Highly recommended!

I have been four times in this casa, and always enjoyed the stay there. Julio y Isabell are a nice couple who help you with all kind of practical things. I realy enjoyed sitting at the breakfast table, in a nice sitting room, enjoying fresh fruits, fresh juce, omellette and coffee. Casa el Mirador is situated near Malecon, Parque Central... More

During our visit to Havana in December/January we stayed with Julio and Isabel on 2 separate occasions. They have a lovely home in a fantastic location which enables their guests to experience the real Cuba. I was attracted by the balconies on the picture and they did not disappoint. It was wonderful to wake-up to the sounds of vibrant Cuba,... More

What a wonderful experience we had at this Casa. Julio and Isabel were absolutely delightful, helpful and interesting to talk to. After a long day walking through the busy streets of Havana, opening the door to this beautiful home was a quiet, peaceful reprieve. The breakfast available for a mere $3 was substantial and delicious. One of our favourite memories... More
