We stayed at three different rooms because of our schedule in Cuba, but all of them were spacious, air-conditioned and clean. In fact, this was the only casa particular we stayed at that had daily cleaning. The breakfast was spectacular: great in variety and tasty. I strongly recommend it!

Located in Centro Habana, Casa David y Lidia Diaz offers cheap & clean accommodation in either of 2 casas located about a block apart. The rooms are cleaned & the bedsheets changed daily. Breakfast is provided for a small extra charge. David & his family speak English & French as well as Spanish & they are very accommodating & helpful.... More

We contacted David for rental one of his rooms. There was a nice surprise when we entered in David and Lidia's house. David and Lidia are wonderful hostess, and recommended us many places to go. This is a cheap and confortable lodge, with a very good breakfeast. Very near from Havana's tourist center (we went walking every days to all... More

My bf and I went in March to Havana, Cuba for vacations. First impression when we got off the cab was: cab drive, pls take us back to the airport... But this was a shock as havana streets are not something you expect to see, generally....they have no asphalt and outdoors apearance is not fine, they seem to be going... More

Beautiful casa, with super high ceilings, wide rooms and nice common facilities. 5-10 minutes walk from Old Havana. The staff is friendly and helpful, though looking a bit lazy at first glance ! With several rooms in several places it's closer to a guesthouse than a Casa Particular, but it's a super nice guesthouse that we definitely recommend. The owner... More

David and his wife Jarry, and their staff were very accomodating and hospitable. I changed my reservations 3 times, and once very last minute and David accomodated us. You can't beat the price, the location is pretty ideal, and the rooms are very clean, and you get private clean bathrooms with a hot shower and a fridge. The only drawback... More

If you don't know Cuba it is the best place to start your trip: David will always take time to explain you how best to get to any other town in Cuba, will show you the best places to visit and will arrange other services for your (booking of taxis, other casas, etc). The best breakfast we had in Cuba... More

More

David helped us arrange very cheap transfers to Trinidad, Hemingway's residence and Havana airport. We couldn't get those prices when negotiating with travel agency and/or drivers directly. I recommend talking to him if you need any of those transfers. He also recommended us some bars and restaurants visited by local people, and that was really nice and different from touristy... More

David & Lidia are real professionals. They know how to host travellers. David speaks fluently english and french. He advices you how to discover Havana and gives a lot of other information. He has three houses, which are equally to another. Rooms are clean and spacious. It's not the Hilton, but for travellers it's very good to have a stay... More
