This was our first experience with a casa - it was great as we were able to share the 2 rooms with family. The place was very, very clean and comfortable with nice high ceilings . The breakfast - which was extra - was excellent as it was made fresh in the apartment and served to you - eggs, fresh... More

You know what they say about location -- it means a lot. This apartment really couldn't be any closer to the action of the old city while still being relatively quiet. Considering the price (30 CUC) for one bedroom or 60 for both, I felt like I got a very good deal. The second bedroom was not rented during my... More

It really is a super location in the centre of old Havana. There are 2 big rooms in one appartment which is rented. To enter this appartment you have a own front door. You share the bathroom with eventual other tourists in the other room (we didn't see anyone). Every morning you get fresh breakfast with a lot of fruit... More

This was the first place we stayed in Cuba and we absolutely loved it. The location was perfect - close to everything in Old Havana, All the tourist attractions were close, but it was even better that it was also close to the less touristy streets with more Cubans than tourists. We did not speak any Spanish which was a... More

We stayed at Casa Borbolla for one night en route between Vinales and Trinidad, we would have loved to stay for a few more days. The Casa is more like an apartment with two double bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. It is located superbly close to Plaza Vieja and Eugienia, our host, was fantastic (inspite of our language... More

I have been in Havana 5 times so far and this time I decided to show my little sister the city. I had tried other casas before but Casa Borbolla has been the best. The place consists of 2 bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen. We had the room with the big balcony and it was just amazing to sleep... More

We've just ended our first trip to Cuba (January 2012). We spent the first 2 days in l'Avana at Casa Borbolla; we felt like at home!!! the house is very close to Plaza Vieja (20meters), super clean and with an excellent service! Eugenia, the owner, is a fantastic person; it has been a pleasure to talk with her, improving our... More

That was our first trip to Cuba, and first nights on a casa particular. The house is very nice, and greatly located just steps from Plaza Vieja. We would be very happy with our stay there, but we had to move out one day earlier since the owner had overbooked the casa.. Maybe if we knew Spanish we would have... More

This was our first trip to Cuba and thought that it would be a good idea to stay in a Casa Particular as this was highly recommended by most of the blogs we read. We originally stayed in a casa in Centro Havana but this was too far from Old Havana ( Beautiful Colonial tourist area). The next day we... More
