We stayed 3 nights with Cary and Nilo, the owners of the house and then, when we got back to La Habana we decided to stay there other 2. They are extremely lovely, the house is very clean and in a great location: 2 minutes walk from the Malecon and 10 minutes from the Capitolio which means super central! If... More

Cary and Nilo are the lovely innkeepers of this clean and meticulously well-kept colonial house on a very conveniently located street in Centro Havana. The breakfasts are ridiculously large -- a huge heaping plate of delicious fresh fruit for each person and then eggs and toast as well in abundant quantities, all served up with delight. Guests tend to be... More

Hi all. The location of the homestay was ok. Only Nilo was there and he didn't speak any English, which i'm wondering if it would have made a difference to our homestay. The house was immaculate and for the most part Nilo was a gracious host and very polite. Where they are losing points is that they didn't honor our... More

We stayed three nights with Cary an Nilo and very much enjoyed our stay there. The rooms are spacious and clean and Cary and Nilo gave us a warm welcome, prepared a lovely breakfast and arranged a taxi to the airport in the middle of the night. The Casa is very quiet although being in a lively neighbourhood, only a... More

When we arrive, Cary was already waiting us in "loby", she was very happy too see us and it feels like visiting granparents, who haven't see you long time. And that feeling continues every single day we stayd there. She was very helpful and give us plenty of good information about nightlife, cuban safety, restuarants, taxis, etc. Rooms have very... Lovely family, nice accommodation Definitely high recommendation! Family is very kind, rooms are clean and beautiful. You will get a wonderful experience staying in this Cuban family. The location is very good, near restaurants and walking distance of old town. And of course the breakfast - it was awesome :)

Locations is very good as well as the best home-restaurants are close by., also the Central Havana is just walking distance. Compared to other casas we saw,... More

We stayed with Cary and Nilo for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip in Cuba. Cary and Nilo were so hospitable and lovable. A Beautiful colonial-style casa, spotlessly clean and very comfy. Bedrooms and bathrooms are cleaned every day. The location of the casa is also perfect - just a short stroll to Malecon and about 15-20 minutes... More

This was the first casa particular we rented, the first time in Cuba. What a pleasant surprise and no doubt the best casa particular we had compared to the other ones on our trip. It`s clean, private, air-conditioned, which is a must in Havana, and the owners are welcoming, friendly and warm-hearted. There was an honesty about the place although... More

The casa is cosy, clean and more importantly it is in the Central Havana, a short walk to Old Havana and the restaurants. But it was kindness of Cary and Nilo which touched us most. Starting with their assistances made our entire month long Cuba trip unforgettable and wonderful. We agree with Terry’s comment that Cary can be best describes... More
