Best we restaurant we had, excellent restaurant, great food, large portions, great service, great atmosphere with live music. A bit remote so it was nice to find ourselves in the backyard. We absolutely recommend it.

We had our first lunch in Havana here - and it was wonderful. The service was polite friendly and efficient, and the food was excellent. (We had grilled lobster which came with rice, beans salad etc, combined with mojito and wine. The price was reasonable, the music excellent - I would definitely recommend this venue for lunch.

While working in Cuba I ate here many times and loved the food, service and total ambiance. I ate here not only at night but for lunch while shopping in Havana. I strongly recommended this restaurant to all my friends.

It sounds like most private tour guides take their customers to this lovely little spot for lunch and a good choice it is! A live Cuban band was playing while we dined and the roosters ran about freely. Ambience gets an A+. Food was excellent. Everyone at our table enjoyed the chicken and pineapple along with the standard accompaniments of... More

This was our first meal in Havana. Service was friendly and attentive. The langoustina and marlin were fesh and delicious and we had our first taste of Cuban black beans with rice. Very simple put well presented and reasonably priced with a good selection of wines. The taxi driver from our hotel, who claimed to be a retired bodyguard of... More

We had dinner at this paladar in between a day of touring Havana and a visit to the Tropicana. I must say that, by Cuban food standards, this was spectacular. The setting was idyllic, in a well-shaded and treed garden with roosters wandering through the tables. The staff are warm and welcoming and had a good command of English (although... More

As part of a taxi tour of Havana, our guide took us to this restaurant for lunch. We had the beef, pork with pineapple and seafood and all the dishes were excellent. The restaurant is well shaded from the mid-day sun, and there are lots of trees about to keep things cool. And the service was excellent, although at this... More

I recently went to this paladar (restaurant) on Wednesday, February 29 for lunch with a group of Canadians - a party of four. I must say, our meal was spectacular. It was traditional Cuban food at its very best. I ordered the meat called Ropa Vieja and my wife had the seafood in a tomato sauce, both were on special.... More
