We were a party of 10 who spent a week at this hotel. If first impressions were to count we should of got back on the bus. After a lnog night of travel we arrived and started our check in from a not very welcoming woman at the front desk, then on to a unwelcoming bartender at the 24 hour lobby bar where... Our group of 4 stay for 4 days from March 5th to 9th. Hotel is okay as i have been to Cuba 8 times in last 12 yrs. Staff are just terrible especially front desk. I observed one of the staff at front desk yelling at an elderly couple who were simply asking for information. Big scam there is this... More

We are campers so for us the beds were fine, the water temp and amount was fine, we could always find food we could eat at the buffet breakfast, lunch and supper. We are not fussy eaters and always selected fresh food at all the meals and felt satisfied. I do like the yogourt drinks at breakfast when they were... More

At first it was a bit of a shock as we had spent our first week in Cuba in a four star, but it had a certain charm that grew on us us. The building is getting on in years, and could really use an update. Staff varied. Some were friendly and helpful, others surly and rude. Tipping did not... More

We were not impressed by the prostitution in the hallways (our daughter asked why so many men had Cuban girlfriends) and the poor service. The tennis courts were in bad condition and the gym was out of order.

We stayed 7 days in February and had a good time. Most staff are friendly, but the hotel is 60 years old, and like everything in Cuba, worn. For example, we changed rooms 3 times on the first day, until we found one with hot water. Wife tripped on a half-step in the lobby bathroom, so be careful. Also, rooms... More

We arrived around 1;30..check in wasn't until 4.. That was the only complaint that we had. There were a couple days when it was windy the night before, and due to the jellyfish that had washed up, our towels smelled very fishy. The hotel is older and dated, but who goes on vacation to spend time in the room..The sheets... More

Similar, in some ways to the Hotel Belaire in Beverly Hills. They have retained the look of the old days, while bringing some things up to date. The bathrooms and AC are of recent vintage and the flat screen TV had a large number of English stations.. By the standards of today, our room was a it small, but well... More

In Cuba one relaxes one's standards, or you will usually be disappointed, thereby missing out on a wonderous adventure. By most tropical island standards, this is a tired old hotel with not much nearby. On the other hand, it is very convenient to Havana, with a nice sandy beach you can walk miles along, and we did. Unfortunately, though the... More

I found the atlantico to be very relaxing and enjoyable. My room was a little worn down but the staff made a great effort to keep it clean. Overall cleanliness was very good. The location is great since you are close to havana and the beaches. Y. Hernandez
