I booked this hotel because of its proximity to Havana and the nice beach across the street. I stayed there for 2 weeks and don’t have any major complaints. There were no ants nor bugs of any kind in my room on the 5th floor. The room could use a coat of fresh paint and new curtains, but who cares?... more

This hotel is alright if all you want to do is go to Havana and still sit by the beach. 3 free shuttles a day to Havana which is nice and a beach just across the street. Staff is very nice. Food is very bad, drinks are boring and entertainment is weak. Depending on what you want from Cuba this... more

We just returned from the Tropicoco experience with my wife. after reading the reviews I was expecting more or less a bad experience but prepared for it. Just return from Tropicoco Havana and my 7th trip from Cuba ... Hotel is 2 star so keep that on mind always and if you get real good deal like I did ( all with taxes for $550) and like to do your own things , explore Havana city , defenitely go for it .... its a great base hotel... more
