Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Havana. Great access to the old town. Lovely breakfast and the outside lobby bar had fantastic live music every night. Great view from our balcony across the square. Highly recommended

The location is excellent, very central, close to Capitolium as well as to Habana Vieja. The hotel itself is beautiful and worth a tourist visit but that's it. Personnel is very unfriendly, some rooms lack of basic facilities such as phon and apart few ones don't have openable windows. Last but not least the breakfast is full of leftovers.

Overall not a very pleasant experience, I would recommend to stay away. We stayed at this hotel twice, at the beginning and the end of our cuba round trip. First the positive things, the hotel is located right at the central place of Havanna and is hence indeed conveniently located. The building itself is a colonial buidling with high ceilings... More

A grand looking hotel from the outside. Room was big but not luxurious. We had booked a double room and got a room with 3 single beds. Major disappointment was the breakfast. Flies over everything and when things ran out they were not replenished. Even necessary things such as butter! Waiting staff were standing doing nothing most of the time.... More

$275 for an internal room with no windows. Picked a hotel for the end of a 10 day trip to Cuba, just in case we would need hot showers/secure night sleep etc before getting on the plane. Turns out it wasn't necessary, and this place was way overpriced regardless. Advantages: location is great, sense of history, and guests get access... More

The hotel looks great, and to be fair I didn't stay there but did seek it out for drinks because it is one of the few places in Havana that seems to have a decent wifi that you can tap into and use a Nautu 1hr wifi card (2CUC) I did try to order coffee on a couple of occasion... More

This was the "upgrade" hotel on our tour. The room when we arrive in Cuba was a great introduction of what to expect in Cuba. Fortunately everything in our room worked but nothing was great. The public rooms are good, lovely old hotel. NOTE, if you buy an Internet access card the Internet will probably work really well in your... More

Stay in a Casa. The best feature is the facade. Rooms, service and cleanliness were sub standard. Evening meal was shocking- hot food served cold. All members of the party got food poisoning. Service was terrible. Recommendation- visit to take photos & leave.

The only one advantage is location - in case you will receive a room with a view, you will enjoy (as well as you will definetely like the rooftop). However, it seems that staff does not care at all about to assist clients. The hotel is old historical place, which will always attract guests, no doubts, however I would recommend... More

Having been disappointed by a nearby well known hotel, we hoped for better. The Hotel Inglaterra enjoys an excellent situation but is dark and airless within. The bonhomie of the live music on it's doorstep is not reflected in the arrogant un-helpfulness of the staff at the door or reception. Call me old-fashioned but I expect a doorman to open... More
