We knew to expect a basic hotel - so there were no nasty surprises when we arrived at the Hotel Deauville, on day one of our 2wk tour of Cuba. After a while in Cuba, one is very happy to have a clean bed, hot(ish) water, and not too much noise. This hotel is not that good but it isn't that bad either. Location in on the Malecon, which is good, on walking distance from the old centre. Beds have very little support.
