Spent 4 nights at the Deauville at the end of May, 2009. Arrived at midnight and everything was ready, large and clean room on the 11th floor with both city and ocean views. We knew to expect a basic hotel - so there were no nasty surprises when we arrived at the Hotel Deauville, on day one of our 2wk tour of Cuba. After a while in Cuba, one is very happy to have a clean bed, hot(ish) water, and not too much noise.
