This hotel has certainly left a mark in my memory Very cuban. Great service. Fun staff. Helpful. Very dirty. Sheets were dirty. A lot of visible big black bedbugs. Roaches. The flying big ones. Breakfast looks delicious but i found a ball of hair in my food Checked out within a day after paying for a week. Sadly

We just returned from an 8 day trip to Cuba, we stayed all 7 nights at the Comodoro. We stayed in the 800 section. The bungalows were dated and smelled a bit musty but they were clean and neat. The front desk staff was nasty and answering a question was too much trouble most had an attitude and full of... More

The hotel complex at first sight looks great. There are apartmenrs in a nice poil landscape. Indeed the swimming pool with its long canals and bridges is the best thing of the hotel. The apartment was dark and in need of refurbishment. The waterfront has basically fallen apart. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes and 10 to 15 euros... More

Only stayed one night on our way out of Cuba. Our suite was full of dead bugs, mould and broken television and toilet. For the price we had a slightly higher expectation, especially having stayed at other hotels of equal value. The hotel is old and needs some major work. Also the breakfast buffet was trivial, spaghetti bolognase?

Used this hotel as a stopover and thankfully it really was a fly in, fly out visit. The hotel seems to be undergoing some kind of refurbishment as many of the building and much of the pool seemed derelict but the reception area was nice. This is not somewhere that I would be happy to stay had it been for... More

The Comodoro was our first stop in Cuba, and since we hadn't expected much anyhow, we thought we hit the jackpot here. It was late and dark, so we only saw some bungalow-like houses around a string of swimming pools, and we were very happy, yes, with the 5 stars-feeling. Next morning I already jumped in before the (very large... More

Stayed there for one night. I felt I came back to the old USSR. The reception staff made you fell that you disturbed them and much better if I just did not talk to them. Customer service is for sure unknown to them. My room had a perfect sea view and the price for this hotel is fair and okay.... More

El Comodoro was our first hotel during our Cuba Trip... And I must say it was the weakest one. Despite being graded 4* and located in the "luxury" part of Havana, the hotel was really outdated. Each room had a different flaw (mine had a warm water only after 15 minutes and noise-leaking windows). The elevator should automatically go down... More

I booked with Solitair Holidays to go on a singles " CUBAN COCKTAIL2 from 19th to 30th January 2015. Along with nine other singles I arrived at the airport expecting to go to the luxury hotel we had booked (the H10 Panorama0, but instead were taken to the Comodoro, which was a total dump. The aircon didn't work, the rooms... More

We stayed 3 nights Feb 23 to 25 2015. We had a room in the poorest section of the hotel. It was clean but had the odd cockroach, nothing problematic. No fridge in our room but I hear most do, so we asked for ice to keep things cool. Pool area is great with nice lounge chairs clean pool with... More
