One of the worst hotels I visited. Cuba is not easy place to visit. After several visits I can tell that the condition of the hotels just worsening. I think that the main problem is management and staff that do not care. The rooms are dirty, stains on the bathroom marble, and rooms without hot water above floor 3. However,... More

Unfortunately big disapointment with the hotel. Hotel is old, needs repairing and renewing. When I arrived I had problem with the check out date and in half a day they accepted the situation. There is no hot water in busy ours like morning and evening. Breakfast was good but again it was hard to find plates or glasses in crowded... More

No hot water for 5 days, We finally found somewhere else to stay. They use the potted plants to catch water from leaks in the roof, don't bother even boarding up broken windows or removing concrete that falls from the ceiling. The breakfast buffet is a cross between hand to hand combat and a scavenger hunt, as they do not... More

The biggest attraction of this hotel is the swimming pool that stretches out between the buildings with small bridges to cross on several places. The hotel consists of several colonial looking buildings. The rooms are big, with a separate living room with kitchenette. The old build in air conditioning has been replace by more modern equipment that works fine. So... More

We stayed here as our promised hotel was apparently booked up. It was truly awful, even by Cuban standards. The loo hardly worked, there was no hot water, dust everywhere, mould and rust, dirty sheets. Holes in the reception roof, damp patches everywhere. View was of a grotty empty pool or builders creating more dust and not much else. Staff... More

Stay here ONLY in extreme emergency. Actually it would probably just be better to camp out in the lobby of the Melia next door. Showers do not have hot water IF you are lucky to get them to work at all. Rooms flooded up to 2" during a rainstorm, and water even gushed in through the wall vents - staff... More

We checked into the Bangalows , toilet and faucets running ,no hot water for too years and they are still selling it. At the lobby the staff was very unprofessional and spoke very limited English. You want an advice ? Don't go there

With a lot of effort and expense, this will be a great place to stay again. Now (due to the US embargo), it has fallen into ruin. The money available was spent on the lobby and dining areas, which are modern and give promise that the rest of the property will be the same. The bungalows have many problems, from... More

We had a few issues with entering our door with the roomcard and went back to the reception to be assissted. However, the woman in the reception was not willing to help us and started helping other guests whilst we were standing there. After talking to her a few times we managed to get another woman at the hotel over... More

I stayed there over Thanksgiving week 2015......like other reviewers have stated this hotel is just a 2 star in 2015.....don't expect much....I had no hot water in my room and had to go to my son's room to take a shower.....all else was just o.k. The help was fine, but if you can afford it stay somewhere else
