The Comodoro is a perfectly decent hotel, but it definitely lacks the charm and sophistication of some of the historical hotels in Old Havana. I think this is more for the relax or kick your feet up at the pool/beach crowd. Tons of swimming pools and a private beach help in that regard. The positives include spacious and clean bungalows.... We arrived recently after a flight from Gatwick, and all I can say is, yuk. Very old fashioned room, filthy dirty curtains air conditioning not working, electricals indescribabe, pool area dirty.
