Lovely set up,with the pool winding around the hotel. Sadly the pool was fairly dirty . The rooms are very clean. The Italian restaurant offers fantastic food if a little pricey. All in all a pleasant hotel but need to be wary of the pool.

Stayed with my family here, during twin centre stay in Cuba. Not the best of hotels. Very basic and past its best. Very shabby to rear of hotel but worse was the fact some locals use it as a pick up join.... Or worse, a place to entertain 'young ladies'! Would never go back!

this hotel belongs to the state and those who are familiar with "advantages" of state properties in socialist coutries can easily realize, what it means. However, there is nothing to worry, if you are prepared to such environments. No shocking things. Food was toerable, although pastry was awful. I have not seen so waterfilled milk but all cooks were in... More

Location: Miramar is quite far from the centre of Havana and taxis are not cheap - therefore, the hotel might not be a good choice for many guests. On the other hand, they have an apparently nice setting of beach and pools - couldn't evaluate that off-season, though. Space-wise their rooms are sometimes incredible - I had a 'single accommodation'... More

Of course, Havana is not the cheapest place on the planet and we cannot compare Cuba to western Europe but you will definitely find better places in Havana. This place is old and has not seen tenovation efforts in years. The service and the people are great, that's what the 2 stars are for but the rooms, environment and food... More

We thankfully only had to stay here for 1 night as we asked to be moved to another hotel. Check in was fine but no information was given as to the whereabouts of bars, restaurants, where to have breakfast etc. we were shown to our room which was large but very outdated and smelt musty and damp. When we went... More

The professional and friendly staff gave us a warm welcome. They were never far away and certainly made our stay more than relaxing. Not many guests around, so no waiting for service. Great breakfast, especially the 'omelet chef'. Bungalow was nice, with clean linen every day. Only one little downside is the fenced seaside of the hotel, so no easy... More

Having read a few of the recent reviews, I have to concur with several points that have been raised. 1) Location – this hotel is about 15 to 17kms away from the tourist sight-seeing locations, so be prepared to shell a substantial amount in taxies. Do not bother with the hotel taxis. They are overpriced. Rather, walk out of the... More

The hotel is urgent to a capital repair, even the lobby area air conditioning not working properly, but they have a cafeteria with good prices and selection, services are good in general, the walk area offer some options like ice cream, sodas, beers ,etc. a grocery have a decent variety and the sea view back at the hotel is clean and quiet,...
