There was NO GLASS in any of our windows thus upon check in at 10 pm I entered my DIRTY and decaying room to find mosquitos, fat red ants and a few small lizards already occupying my "apartment". My 12 yo daughter looked like she was going to cry. The shower was a pipe sticking out of the wall. The... More

My husband and I were here in December 18-21 and had a good time. We knew what we were getting and weren't surprised in the least. Although the pictures say it all, it was clean, the staff were very friendly, the cats were numerous and the dogs many, but hey, they're trying to survive just like everything/body on the island.... I was at Las Terrazas Aparthotel from March 19 to 26 . I really enjoy my week there. I was in the building by the pool, my aparthotel was big with a nice balcony everything was working in my room. Maid service was good and friendly. The pool is nice and water was clean. The pool is busy on weekend with... More

Negative points: Soviet-era building, in bad shape. Extremely deteriorated and dirty looking. You feel as if you are in a post-war scene. Very dark at night and not much people around. Awful food, the worst ever! Young prostitutes with drunk old tourist around the cafeteria-like restaurants. Cats and dogs in awful conditions (hungry, sick and not taken care of) No... More

Got the place for next to nothing with a Sunwing Ticket. It was perfect for us. A very funky old Soviet-era building, in bad shape like most Cuban buildings, but our little apartment was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the location was gorgeous. We loved leaving Havana's air pollution each night on the bus, and heading... More

My room in the white building was disgusting. I wasn't expecting much since it was only a 2 star, but it was worse than any low expectation I had. Most of the light switches didn't work. There was no switchplate on the bathroom light switch. An open drain hole in the "kitchen", which had no fridge, nothing, just a rusty... More

The apartment was pretty shabby at best. My kids called it "the hut". The rooms are cement block and no character. That being said we only stayed 2 nights of the 7 we payed for because staying in havana is way more fun. If you have hosteled throughout the world this will not be a shock but if you are... More

First of all, except during the high season (January-April) which the hotel is reserved by Sunwing or other, this hotel is a Hi Hostel, so don't expected amenities like in an resort, because it's not a resort. For that, go in Varadero. We've stayed in the main building (the yellow one, with the hotel front desk). Rooms are larges but... More

I stayed at the hotel for two week, solo, yet was given a large 2 bed rooms apartment, totalling 4 beds , so yea, I was very pleased. The apartments are very run down, but its manageable. Hot water, AC units, TV, near the beach, and safe. I never had anything missing, the staff didn't even touch or replaced my... More

I have been there for one week and I just got bad experiences from that place. We supposedly had a representative who would be responsible of our stay. The lady in question was somebody called "Dafne". She never showed up and we met her in two opportunities. She wanted to show herself as a very executive person... she wasn´t. She... More
