This was our first visit to Cuba and we stayed at Casa 1932 for 2 days when we arrived and for our last night. Upon entering the Casa, it is like going back in time with all the antiques. The staff are very pleasant and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean , and the breakfasts are great, as... More

The location is great; close to the Malacon;close to Old Havana. An oasis after a day in Havana. Some nice restaurants close by; but the breakfast is very good and dinner is great; why to go to a reataurant. Eating "at home" is very special in the nice dining room, the food is very good and the service is great. Luis... More

Conveniently placed in central Havana, just two minutes walk from the seafront and not far from Havana Vieja, this Casa is beautifully furnished in Art Deco pieces. At breakfast you'll feel totally immersed in the 1930's, surrounded by amazing stained glass lamps doors and windows, cupboards full of glinting vases, signs, and wonderful black and white portraits, even the plates... After a long journey via Cancun to reach Havana, it was so nice to be able to find a safe haven to rest my head for a couple of days. Luis was an exemplary host who went above and beyond to accommodate me. He was happy to call ahead to check bookings, organise for a tour company to pick me... More

Outside, on the street, evokes the devastation of war. Inside, the mansion could accommodate the most discerning Cuban tycoon of the 1930's. A wonderful private house with 20 foot ceilings, wrought-iron gates and an internal courtyard – time-worn in a very pleasant way. Great location; walking distance to old Havana and the seawall. We had the best sleep in this... More

Really beautiful place, clean and with everything you need like air conditioner, fans, toilet, warm water and more. Breakfast was really good, and the owner is a nice person. Maybe the only problem is that we've been to other many houses around, and I didn't feel the same love and caring in this one. But this may not be a... More

Arriving in Havana Airport at 2am after an 8 hour delay to our flight, we really wanted to get to our accommodation quickly. After an hour getting through customs and immigration, half an hour queuing for currency exchange, (Mastercard doesn't work well in Cuba), a half hour ride in a Russian era taxi, we arrived at Casa 1932. The street... More

My friend and I were backpacking around Cuba in autumn 2012. Luis Miguel, the owner, was a wonderful help to us. His casa is very cosy and his family and staff are kind and friendly. The location of the Casa is in walking distance to just about all sights of interest. He even assisted and advised us when we had... More
