My friend and I had booked this casa in Old Havana because of the great reviews on trip advisor and looking it up on casaparticular.com. It was a long journey and we were exhausted when we arrived. It was clean and looked pleasing. We looked outside and saw a market down below with fresh bananas. We were then handed fresh... More

We stayed in a double room past the kitchen for a week. Comfortable and cleaned daily, with our own bathroom, which was cleaner than any other I came across in Cuba. Outfitted with AC which we found essential on some nights. The house itself is beautifully decorated, and very clean. A wonderful breakfasting area and great terrace. Miladys was very... More

We stayed in the apartment on the terrace. You get this amazing overview of the city and a sense of space in the midst of a complicate city. Milady and Humberto are wonderful - I was a bit sick in the middle of my stay and they made sure I was well cared for. The house is clean and safe.... More

Rum, cigar, salsa dance, beach, sun, party, music… I didn´t want to stay in a hotel; my intention was to know Cuba in a “casa particular”, to live with the Cubans. Many houses are announced in internet and my cousin and I didn´t know what to do, but I took the risk and booked CASAHUMBERTO, we saw some photos and... More

This was our first trip to the island. A friend recommended us CASAHUMBERTO and it was our best choice! Humberto and his wife Miladys are very kind and sincere, they suggested us where to go, houses in another provinces, restaurants, cabs, etc. The breakfast is exquisite and hearty just like dinner. They clean the rooms every day, the flat roof... More

Casa Humberto is a beautiful refuge within the tumultuous Old Havana. Steps away from Obispo street -- Hemingway's old stomping grounds (ambos mundos, el floridita, sloppy joes, plaza de San Francisco etc.) -- and located steps from Park Central and also the Malecon; we were at first overwhelmed with life on the streets, but literally within minutes of being there... Casa Humberto, is not a typical casa with just one bedroom. There are three rooms and a small house on the roof top for rent. The house on the rooftop is very charming, but during our stay there was no hot water in that room. When we traveled back home, we stayed one more night in one of the other... More

We stayed for one week in Casa Humberto with our 3 children in April 2012. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a warm dinner by our welcoming hosts. The breakfast was always very good, with plenty of fresh fruits. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, a bit further away... More

We stayed in the roof bedroom- it was bright, cosy and nicely decorated. It was also very private and got great views of Havana's rooftops. Cleanliness was fantastic in both the room and the en-suite. Only issue was that the water pressure must have been quite low because we had issues flushing the toilet sometimes. That said, relative to almost... More

You will find Humberto's casa particular in the heart of the historical colonial part of Havana (Habana Vieja - Old Havana).
